"Protecting the Donbass, NATO etc, etc" was always only a cover story to legitimize Putin's invasion. If there were no NATO, or a Donbass to be saved. it would be something else. Putin and his friends wanted the wealth of Ukraine, and that's the real reason for the invasion.

If the Russian threat to "respond" to any act of Israel follows the same path of its recent threats, then Israel has nothing to fear. Putin has more immediate worries presently at home and in Ukraine. In the middle east, Israel is more than capable of defending itself. Israel does not threaten, it acts, and very quickly at that.

They are called anti material rounds. You have semi-automatic and bolt action anti-material rifles. They are very efficient against such bunkers. Firing them through the slit in a bunker will cause a lot of sharpnel to be flying around within the bunker.
Bit much more a available are the LAWS and NLAWS anti tank projectiles. These would be very efficient against such bunkers and can be fired from a fair distance at them.

To be honest, yes, certainly get them off the UN SC. Their membership is a legacy of being one of winners of WW2, and does not reflect where they stand in 2022. The whole point of the UN was to prevent another world war, and Russia have no business having a veto there after what they have done.

Plenty of nations who "side" with Russia would not be too quick to recognise a UNSC without them or some other supernational body issuing judgements. The thinking being - if they can remove Russia's influence in UNSC, then they could do the same to our country. China in particular are already very paranoid and see the attacks and sanctions against Russia as a threat to themselves too, as the same sanctions etc could be used to curb the Chinese.
