Very interesting video piece about the battle for Kherson, worth a watch.
If you read the twitter comments you may pick up a vibe:
Ukraine have none of those gunboats left, they were lost early in the war.
The fields are green with crops/leaves on trees still etc... with some speculating the footage is from spring/early summer.
Chancellor Scholz: Putin's war is challenging the global peaceful order. In Beijing, I asked President Xi to bring his influence on Russia to bear. We agree that atomic threats are extremely dangerous. The use of such weapons would cross a red line
Scholz is pulling out a chair for Chairman Xi at the G7
If the Russian threat to "respond" to any act of Israel follows the same path of its recent threats, then Israel has nothing to fear. Putin has more immediate worries presently at home and in Ukraine. In the middle east, Israel is more than capable of defending itself. Israel does not threaten, it acts, and very quickly at that.
There is a lot of righteous anger on this thread, which is quite understandable, given the dreadful evils Russia perpetrates on a daily basis.
links?
Why do you say in the last few days when all the video footage is from months ago?
"Protecting the Donbass, NATO etc, etc" was always only a cover story to legitimize Putin's invasion. If there were no NATO, or a Donbass to be saved. it would be something else. Putin and his friends wanted the wealth of Ukraine, and that's the real reason for the invasion.
and "Anglo-Saxons". You forgot those. Nazi Anglo-Saxon NATO weaponised biolab mosquitos carrying wee dirty bombs with lasers for eyes.
These Lancet loitering munitions have been causing a lot of problems for Ukraine in the last few days.
In time they could divert some Iranian made killer drone swarms to Palestine/Lebanon/Syria
The Irish equivalent of a 70-year-old Russian male would be 80 years. 73 years is average lifespan of a man in Russia.75 for women. But many die much younger than that, hence the mass kidnapping of Ukraine children to stop the population decline.
Its kinda like the mouthy lad in the pub who hasn't realised but by starting on EVERYONE, he's believing that everyone is in awe and terrified of them, but the reality is, he's uniting more and more who are just waiting for a glass to be thrown at the wrong chap.
You've got to imagine Israel are laughing their asses off at this
It will be interesting to see what the new Israeli government will do. Surely they need to send out a message to Iran.
Ah you're back.. so as I was asking and for the third time.
Love to hear your view on what will be bring a conclusion to this invasion: what would do for Russia and what for Ukraine, do you think?
Russia could inflict pain on Israel?? With what?
Russia has informed Israel that it will respond if Israeli-made air defense missiles reach Ukraine - Bloomberg
Israel fears Russia no doubt Russia could inflict some pain on them in Syria/Golan Heights/Lebanon/West bank/Gaza
These are evil fuckers
He'll be dead in two weeks, no doubt about it.
There is something going on with Putin alright. I have noticed he clasps his hands together tightly a lot these days and still suffers from handshakes and finger twitching. When someone holds their hands tightly it's almost impossible to put on an act with such movement. One cause of this can be toxic liver poisoning from the overuse of painkillers and other medications. I am aware of this as 2 family members of mine have suffered from these conditions in years gone by. The hands can tell a lot!!!
It’s always “tactical retreats” with the Russians. Even when they abandoned so many vehicles, weapons and ammo while they scrambled away from Izium area, you Russian fan boys were claiming it to be a tactical retreat.
Well, that's one way to completely misread a post.
Your terms are unacceptable so, no talks. Forget it.
They were lauding the Douglas MacGregor link above. But then when the more knowledgeable posters here pointed out who MacGregor was, they had second thoughts and tried to remove the evidence 😀
What did our resident fence sitter EOQ write this time? Seems to be deleted.
Priorities.
Missile strike hit hotel with Russian military near Radensk, Kherson region
Russia's desire for negotiations is slowly morphing from (a) to (b)
(a). It greatly pains us to cause any kind of hurt or discomfort to other living beings so we will accept complete capitulation
(b). The plan has gone completely to everything, please be good sports and let us now retreat
Basically a deeply compassionate nation whose kindness is lethal
In terms of evolutionary timing, not advanced, but retarded - devolution in fact
Putin is like “flatcap” in the regency shootings, he’s on the way out and doesn’t give a f** what damage he does
I dont know what youre talking about re:snuff videos etc. Maybe youre referring to someone else?
I watched col mcgregors video and his key points are demonstrably false:
A. Russia has only committed 20% of its ground force to Ukraine - so why conscription of 300k? In any event, I assume he means that the c. 170-190k already committed there represents about 20% of the total military. But it constitutes the majority of the ground forces and all of the best units.
B. If the US wanted to move troops to Europe their boats would be sunk by russian subs - the us prefers airlift capacity, but if they did use the navy their nuclear hunter killer subs would easily track and destroy the old Russian subs, most of which are based in Russian waters.
C. If there was a war, the Russian Kalibr missle would destroy all NATO bases in an hour. He means thr Kalibr which has failed to destroy Ukraines bases, is being regularly shot down and which the Russians have depleted by up to half over the last six months?
D. UK wouldnt join the USA because the UK is in serious trouble at the moment - lol.
E. The French army is entirely occupied protecting its own monuments and in operations in Mali - also ridiculous. Though whether they would get involved is an open politicial question.
F. "Can Russia lose this war? - No". Well it depends what they mean by lose. Can Russia be crushed as a state and occupied, no. Can Russia suffer humiliating military losses and suffer extreme political and economic consequences - they already are. I guess it all comes down to who sets the victory conditions.
