Outside comparisons did I compare with what's happening in other countries. I suppose it comes back to your research ensure you can follow up on whatever your topic is. π

Can anyone advise if the panel asks a question on every competency for the interview part?
I think I have a vague recollection from the previous competition that they assessed Drive and Commitment (and possibly Specialist Knowledge, Expertise & Self Development) on the basis of all the other answers. Maybe I'm imagining that though.
Can anyone comment?

I sat my interview last week for Offaly / Westmeath region.
I found the presentation ok do to and I did show slides, but the time went very fast, so make sure that you have timed yourself before the interview (which I had but I didn't stick to my flashcards when speaking - nerves). Questions on the presentation were fine, nothing too bad - like where you got all the information? what research did you do? what other stakeholders are also involved.
The interview was fine, went on for 70 minutes, and the board were nice. All competency based (as normal), same with me they keep interrupting me while answering questions, so i feel like i didn't get my point across enough. But who knows! π¦ Underperformance and Conflict were big topics for me. Also I had to provide different managerial examples to the ones I had in my application.
I do think that the 7 days to work on your report and have it submitted is too short a time, so I would advise that if you get your interview date - work on your interview answers while waiting on the report topics to come in. Also, have your report structure and PowerPoint (if doing one) ready, so when your topics come in, you'll have the base set for your report (takes a little bit of pressure off)
Anyone know what the time frame is for the results, as I was so frazzled by the end of the interview I didn't ask π

They finished the interviews in this batch last friday, results were due to be out today or tomorrow, looking like tomorrow now. They usually cut you off and move on if they got what they needed to hear , they will drill you down with questions if your not on the right track before they eventually move on to next topic.

I thought we wouldn't get results until the 11th.... would be great to get them tomorrow π not that I'm expecting to get a place but I'm looking forward to being put out of my misery!!

I got my results today, sat my interview last Thursday.

So delighted to find out I was successful in the interview stage and higher on the panel than I was expecting. I got placed also, was sure I hadn't done enough. Thanks to all who have contributed to this thread it was a real help. I am placed in my 2nd choice location as they haven't interviewed for my number 1 location yet. I presume I can refuse any offer in my 2nd location and wait for my 1st choice location. Good luck to all still waiting for interview.

I emailed today to see where the other batches are and they said our batch (people who got results today) are next for clearance π₯³ hopefully won't be waiting too long!
