According to my Finnish friends, from a very early age, Finns are taught how to handle firearms, and as one of them explained it to me, the bastards invaded us once before, but next time. we will be ready for them, and they won't get away so soft.
Overnight Russian army launched several missiles at Mykolaiv, destroyed a school
Russia will return to the Grain deal only of there is guarantees that the black sea fleet will be safe from attacks 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The same ships launching attacks on ukraine
You don't need subzero temperatures for life to be very cold and miserable without light, heat, and water. And we're only at the start of November
Yes but firing missiles directly over their country shows absolutely no respect for it.
How long can Ukraine resist retaliation against Russian cities & even civilians, I know they have only attacked military targets in the Bologrod region so far but the Ukrainian people will be demanding retribution sooner rather than later.
We know the west will be putting pressure on Ukraine to avoid escalation of the conflict, perhaps insisting that weapons supplied can't be used outside the internationally recognised borders of Ukraine.
The Ukrainians gave up many off the offensive weapons back in the early '90's, such as 600 cruise missiles & squadrons of bomber aircraft as well as their nuclear arsenal so perhaps they don't have the military potential to hit back in the same manner against Russia at present.
Kursk & Rostov on Don are are close as Bologrod so would be an option in the future. It would be understandable if Ukraine reacts at some stage in this conflict.
It is no wonder Zelensky called the Russian crazy.
If this keeps up Putin will have no choice but to 'demand' if thats the word peace talks. The Ukraine should hold fast until Russia is gone from their land completely. Let Putin face the consequences of his own ill judgements.
With the way some comment on here you would think the temp in Kyiv was -75c. The weather is very mild so far.
Imagine trying to "reason with" a mafia state that deliberately destroys the water supply of the innocent people they claim they're trying to save from imaginary Nazis.
Going to be a long cold hard winter in Kyiv. Hopefully this horrid conflict can be resolved in the short term but i have grave doubts Russia can be reasoned with.
The Russians are now recruiting "battle ready" Afghan soldiers. The same soldiers that just ran away from some yokels in pickup trucks.
Interesting. I don't think the story is going to be retracted, despite what the Ukrainians claim - that's just silly. It also doesn't sound realistic that every weapon delivered to Ukraine will end up in the right hands, but that's a problem we can worry about after the war.
That's assuming Putin doesn't die from cancer first.
I'm reading that Finland has one of the highest rates of gun ownership in all of Europe. The idea that they would need to smuggle in small arms from faraway Ukraine should have made people suspicious of the veracity.
Tanks we could sell them ejector seats for tanks, they have already mastered the ejector turret
zero-zero ejector seats can deploy that low
The Ka-52 has them, so selling the Russians ejectors seats for helicopters wouldnt quite be the giggle that people think it would
Looks what I found earlier
Trying to get the Tajiks and ethnics to come out of hiding in Moscow.
Oh no. What about the faux concern from some posters?
Coming back to a post yesterday, seems the weapons being smuggled into Finland story was made up by a journalist.
It's a trick to get men to relax their guard so they can be more easily press ganged.
This is a first for me, video of Ukrainian Special Forces setting charges on a KA-52 helicopter, after supposedly sneaking into where they are being operated from.
✊ You must have heard that a powerful cotton explosion took place on the night of October 31 at the "Veretye" air base of the Russian Armed Forces (Pskov Region).
🤟 Two Russian attack helicopters Ka-52 "alligator" were completely destroyed.
🤟 Two more - significantly damaged.
So here is a video of placing explosives under one of these "reptilians"...
"Orestocracy"
Putin claims mobilisation in Russia has been concluded
Occupation authorities announced evacuation in range of 15kms to Dnipro river
getting ready to blow the dam!
It kinda looks like a situation where the cure would be worse than the illness. I knew a fighter pilot who had to eject from a high altitude when his plane developed a fault. He survived it ok, but he could never fly again such was the impact it had on him health-wise.
Explosions reported in Belgorod
Chickens......roosting
..
btw, some reports saying it was a Ukrainian helicopter, others saying it was Russian. Such is the Twittershpere...
Edit:
You might could engineer something like that but IDK. Base jumping chutes are designed to deploy low but that's someone in a glide suit, very light and draggy, not a flight suit strapped to an ejector seat, which is many times more heavy. I think the system above has the right idea by pulling the ejectee up to a safe minimum deployment height.
A sideways ejection seat with a fast-opening parachute should be feasible? Seat flies out horizontal, parachute flies back towards the helicopter at the same speed and opens. Pilot only needs a few meters to swing down vertical and land on the daisies.
