So the massive reduction of Russian shelling in the frontlines is a strategy or lack of artillery?
Salvaging white goods for chips is just a recycling initiative and not a sign of depleted stocks of cruise missiles?
Turning to Belarus for tanks and ammo is.... I don't know what it is, other than a lack of tanks Russia have.
Turning to Iran for drones, turning to hire Mercenaries and another mobilisation of 300k men is what? It's a lack of manpower.
These are all war crimes by the regime of course. Deliberately blowing up energy and water facilities in a city that is nowhere even near the frontline is 100% an attack on civilians.
He was running out of everything months ago according the usual talking heads on here.
Iv'e a feeling he'll be running out of everything this time next year also.
He seems to have given up on a military victory, seeing as how he is expending massive amounts of munitions on civilian targets, and instead is trying to crush the Ukrainian people by making living conditions intolerable, especially during the coming winter. If that's the case, then he is gambling everything on the next few months. If (when) Kherson falls, that will be Putins swan song I'd say. At this stage, he has to be running out of everything...men, weapons, cash and most of all, Time.
Not sure what your point is there. The Hindustan Times is one of the biggest selling newspapers in India, has been around since 1924 and outsells the London Times and Irish Times combined.
The story also names its source: Ukrainian chief of defence intelligence Major general Kyrylo Budanov. So while it's certainly possible that a heave is being planned against Putin, this is more likely to be Ukraine's intelligence services playing on his paranoia just like they did when they claimed that the Russian hit squads sent to kill Zelensky had been compromised by leaks from the FSB.
That's the wink-worthy bit, not...whatever it was you were alluding to.
I doubt that any paper outside of Russia has any clue as to what's going on within the Kremlin.
Maybe I misread but was the missile falling in Moldova not shot down by Ukrainian air defence?
Hindustan Times is an Indian English-language daily newspaper based in Delhi. It is the flagship publication of HT Media, an entity controlled by the KK Birla family, and is owned by Shobhana Bhartia. Wikipedia
Quoted poster will soon be along to tell us that Ukraine needs to negotiate or freeze or we'll all be nuked etc. Or that Russia is going to get angry soon and so on.
Russia making an absolute mockery of Moldovan independence. Obviously another country they consider part of Russia.
It would be in the interests of Europe and Ukraine to supply air defense systems to Moldova.
The only way to deal with the Swiss is to hit them in their pockets. That's what they understand - money, banking & other hard assets. After that tourism.
Be interesting to see how fixed their neutrality really is, if push comes to shove. Isn't manufacturing military equipment quite at odds with their neutrality for a starter.
The Hindustan Times 😏
Who's keeping count of supposed stocks remaining?
And this is the bastard that some poster's on here want to have ""Peace " talks with???? There's only one way to talk to Putin, and that's when he's crawling on the ground, and the boot is on his neck. anything else is a waste of time.
I don't think Russia would risk it's navy ships getting close to Odessa for fear of being attacked by aerial and sea drones. I'd say they will just launch drones and missiles and attack the grain storage and port facilities unfortunately.
Usurpation taking place
Regarding the strengthening and diversification of Ukraine's military, I'm seeing positive signals everywhere.
I get a strong sense that Putin has been told "here's how it is, but we won't meddle with your internal politics".
And yet have zero ability to stop russian weapons being launched from their territory
Balance-
Moldova condemns in strongest possible terms Russia's continued aggression against Ukraine. The appalling strikes on critical infrastructure reverberate beyond Ukraine's borders and pose a direct threat to Moldova's energy – and human – security
An interesting thing about Ukraine's air defences is that the clever lot that they are, have recreated the WW2 observer core the UK had - well sort of.
They have created an app which has 3 pictogram buttons - a missile, helicopter and plane. If anyone spots one they just tap the icon and the system pre-alerts appropriate air defence groups to be ready. I'm not sure where it gets the direction part from, probably from the locations of a couple of reports. Apparently at least two kalibr cruise missiles have been downed with manpads as a result of people allerting via the app.
Looks like the death knell of the Swiss arms industry. They will sell arms but not if they are going to be used for their purpose.
As mentioned above a convoy of 14 ships carrying Ukrainian grain has set sail , despite an apparent russian Naval blockade
Russian army conducted missile strikes at 3 Hydropower plants in Ukraine: Dniprovska in Zaporizhzhia, Kremenchutska in Svitlovodsk and Dnistrovska
Time for Moldova to invite some US troops in for military 'exercises'. Biden shouldn't make the same mistake twice.
They won't wipe the black sea fleet out ,but turkey could close the Bosporus straight to all Russian shipping coming and going to the black sea,
The question has to be asked why are these ship's laden with stolen grain are not being intercepted outside of the blacksea
Partial blackout and water supply cut in Kyiv as result of Russian missile strikes
80% of customers in Kyiv are without water supply
Not sure, but there has been an increase in Russian activities lately in Moldova including calls to over throw the elected government and install a pro russian one
What was one doing over Moldova?
