Peace in your terms = however big a piece Putin wants.
Wonder if the SAS was spotted in Bucha yet
Give us your peace plan then
More of the same careful equivocation. You might as well nail your colours firmly to the mast at this stage rather than trying to sit astride two horses but only steering one.
No one knows who did the pipeline, but the chief suspect is Moscow. It's something right out of their playbook.
A few years ago, oil tankers near the Gulf of Oman started suffering mysterious explosions. Instantly people pointed to Iran as being the culprit, but on paper didn't make sense, why would they damage their own shipping lines and their chief export. Later footage captured an Iranian patrol boat going up to a tanker and planting a mine. Basically they were demonstrating they could destabilise global oil supply, even if it hurt them.
Likewise, Putin benefits from showing he has the capacity and means to hit undersea pipes, a signal to Europe of the damage he can inflict. It was just outside of a NATO's members territorial waters, so whoever did it was very aware of that.
Always a bang of anti UK Wanting them to get a finger in the eye while claiming escalation. 🤣
That's just trying to distract from the fact that every dog in the streets of Russia knows it was Mick Wallace and Clare Daly blew the pipe.
NATO will still supply weapons and all the other countries.
That tap will remain open for as long as it takes for the schoolyard bullies' lunch money to run out. Understand?
It doesn't really need research. Any child that can read can see that your account was created in Dec 2020 and barely used till today, when suddenly it sputters into life and buzzes like an Iranian drone. And we know what happens to them one way or another!
"The real world" lol, calling for compromise while an innocent unthreatening country and its citizens are being terrorised by an aggressive and dangerous neighbouring nation.
Yes well spotted Sherlock, I'm more of a reader than a poster. Who has the time these days to post never mind patheticaly research the history of any poster that has a different opinion.
Yes innocent, they never threatened Russia. Russia are the aggressor here not Ukraine.
It’s a natural assumption that they are Russian trolls. Because no one could be that gullible

To ensure the permanent monitoring of the Ukrainian-Russian border and verification by the OSCE with the creation of security zones in the border regions of Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
No it was not disregarded by Ukraine. Your statement is false and made without evidence.
Ukraine implemented as much of Minsk as they could while Russian backed separatists, in breach of Minsk, continued to occupy Ukranian sovereign territory using Russsian supplied weaponry and personnel.
Regardless Minsk covers Ukranian territory. Ukraine had not attacked any Russian territory.
Unlike Russia who in breach of Budapest invaded Crimea and stirred up separatists in Donbas.
That and Afghanistan bled them dry of resources and will to continue.
Sure we all know that they are damaged from blowing pipes, not the ones you are referring to though, way beyond their abilities, we should be ashamed of ourselves as a nation for voting those people into power, again and again.
Hi again. You should go back and read the previous responses to the pro-Russian view of the Minsk agreement.
That in no way supports your previous claims of Ukraine as an aggressor.
And if you place so much value on violations of agreements - Budapest has been violated multiple times by Russia in hostile and aggressive acts towards Ukraine.
So stop deflecting.
Yes, and even if there's a big reduction of help from the US, EU etc. and Putin makes a big comeback, and succeeds in overwhelming Ukraine, and it's reduced to guerilla warfare, it will be 10 times (or more) worse that Afghanistan ever was for the Russian's. I had a colleague one-time, Ex-Russian soldier who had fought (and survived) Afghanistan. He was still suffering from flashbacks and nightmares from the experience, and that was many years later. I'm not joking but when I mentioned Afghanistan, his face went a deadly shade of pale, and he coughed out the cigarette he was smoking. Ukraine will be and is much worse for Russian Soldiers.
@zv2 your statement that "Clare Daly blew Mick Wallace's pipe" has put images in my head that no amount of alcohol can now remove 🤮
jeanfrancois threadbanned
I'm surprised in the increase in Russian support for 'starting peace talks'. Then again with the moblisation, alot more people will have a family member drafted etc...
That or there may not be enough Ladas for compensation!
And yet still it's the women (mainly women) in Iran leading the way in how to show a regime what they feel!
I wish the bloody search worked, but very early on in this thread my take was, and pretty much remains so, that IMHO it's likely unless something radical changes when this is finally over and peace talks are done and ink is dry, Russia will "keep" a large chunk of the so called "independent republics" and Crimea, but will lose the landbridge from one to the other. Ukraine will join the EU in due course with NATO on the long finger.* Some Russian sanctions will be lifted, but it'll matter little as international money, the entity that gives few fecks for politics until it causes problems in cash flow, will be very reticent to throw much money Russia's way again.
And I also reckoned, again IMHO, I'd leave Donbas to them at this stage. Offer sanctuary for any Ukrainian nationalists, if that many are left. It's going to cause a fortune and headaches for mother Russia for decades.
There are a few bitter pills there to be sure, but IMHO in the medium and long term Russia will be the one looking like they've sucked on a lemon.
The notion that putin or any of them end up in the Hague is fantasy. Sadly. Not going to happen. If he were usurped in the morning and there's no sign of that, he'd be "retired" in a back room in Moscow.
*Which it was until putin the fool invaded and tried to take Kyiv and the country. Again I reckoned that if he'd given some US Iraq/Kuwait BS excuse to the UN and "just" invaded and taken Donbas and nothing else he would have gotten away with it, or far more away with it than he has.
Try harder. 😁
Has anyone ever taken this seriously after the millionth time its been brought up ?🤪
No it hasnt. What has led us here is Russian aggression to Ukraine and Ukraine legitimately resisting that aggresssion.
Russia did not invade because of Minsk. Russia invaded Ukraine before Minsk and did so again in 2022 to destabilise Ukraine and prevent it from aligning with the West.
So without equivocation, Russia is the aggressor in Ukraine. Yes?
Tell that to the Russians. They are the mad ones. Ukraine is defending itself against Russian madness, war crimes and atrocity. Threats of nuclear war. Abduction of children. Russia has to be stopped and defeated. That is how the madness ends.
So apparently Kaliningrad is largely now undefened.
