Oh no! That's a stinger ugh π£
Lashing rain and the gutter is overflowing.
Should have cleared that earlier but it got pushed way down my list of things.
It's supposed to ease off for a bit later. Will try and clear out some then.
Thanks for the reminder re the clocks. There was one year I turned up for Mass at Killarney and wondered why the Cathedral was so sparse... It was only when I got to LIDL and saw the clock...
That is a horrible job when it is wet... Especially if it runs down your sleeves.. No real trees here so no leaves to block...
I need to borrow a ladder and have the OH hold the ladder. And go carefully. I have the process worked out from doing it a few times now. It's easing off so it should be easier in a couple of hours.
This is going to be an 80's day. Cyndi Lauper currently πΊ
Sounds safe! I am just the one storey here and can reach with a brush etc..
You can't beat 80's music!!
Deskside with a coffee, was out early walking and as I was walking back I heard in the distance some feen with a megaphone, I thought he was chanting about religion or something but it was just the park run folks and just as turned the corner a stampede of runners were just after taking off and coming towards me π π.
The house is on a slope. One side I can reach with a step ladder and it's easy. The other side requires an extension ladder and another person. I go really carefully on that side. I hate it. But it's satisfying removing the muck once you get going. It's all just moss and leaves.
And just exactly how did you come by that video of me being assertive when I was 3,@Leg End Reject ?
Shopping In limerick .....the Range to be more precise....take me now God πππ
8 pm i think
First turf fire of the autumn glowing strong. They one bag to tide me over then next weekend the full order... Piled enticingly over the field.... a rich harvest.
The house is warm; the water is hot. ... As the wind buffets.
I'll swop you. My favourite shop π
Finished cleaning out the muck in the gutters. OH holding the ladder. I'm not sure the marriage survived it to be honest.
STORNGLY disagree π€ the 90βs rocked but no body will look back on 80βs music fondly imo
I love 80s before the Stock Aiken Waterman **** crept in. New wave, synth pop, ska, ... maybe better singles than albums.
Also love 90s ... britpop, grunge, indie
Love em both. My time in music. Think I fell off music in the mid 00s and have only liked a few bands since.
Remember folks, if you do win the lotto, your life might become "quite boring". π€£
100% agree with this. For innovation, inventiveness and diversity, early to late 80s win. Pop music was actually good then. Before SAW began to dominate and left us with a legacy of recycled, samey jingles masquerading as pop.
Well at least your OH didnβt cause you to fall from the ladder!
Had a lunchtime BJ and now itβs time to get ready for a night out, will probably end up on Crimecall next week ππ
Le trundle while I giggle at someone on here finally using the word feen, cheers Seph π
One second there now missy....you had a what at lunchtime?
And who should appear π€£
Shaking my head at the feck up leading to Leeds scoring against Liverpool.
Is it just me or does this place look nicer than usual?
It must be coz the resolution on my new phone is much better. I am beyond excited to have a new toy. π
Oooh ooh what you get?
Saturday night on a bank holiday weekend. No glenroes tomorrow. Holla! πππ
To those going out tonight, have a great time!
Those of us staying in, have a great night too! Extra hour in bed in the morning, or as I used to say , eh no , the kids will probably still wake up at their usual time π
I think tae is my basic link to sanity βοΈ
