Actually, I'd be quite in favour of interning these russians until after the war.
I don't see why not. A good number of wars have ended by negotiation, certainly. A good number of others have ended with unilateral defeat. I am quite willing to believe that the latter will be the case here.
Protection from your ilk lol
All of the above, Plus:
Basically they want to wind the clock back to pre-2014, in terms of how Russia is treated, without giving up any of the territory that they have stolen from Ukraine since then.
And we both left out: no reparations, we keep the kiddies to keep our pedos amused and you give back the $300 Billion in foreign reserves.
Nope to all that - grind them into fertiliser until the Russian border and crimean end of the Kerch bridge are reached.
Exactly that nobody....
You could be the exception?
I hope you are right ... I really do.
This guy is "Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine"
Statue of Liberty emoji surely indicates new settlements being freed up?
There is a much simpler solution; Napalm.
You're rapid firing all guns blazing today Gatling 😳 riddle me this and simplify that.
Can you not post in a style that most people can understand or am I lost in the crossfire ?
Still banned or confused?
Explosions reported near Chornobaivka
in the deep south tensions are high
Yeah the thing here is the Russians have zero credibility when it comes to negotiations. Remember at the start of the invasion the Ukrainian delegation got poisoned after meeting the Russians? Not to mention that an agreement would mean concessions from both sides, ultimately rewarding the Russians with something.
Zero guarantee that they wouldn't try this again, even if an agreement was signed.
As much as everyone would like to see diplomacy prevail I don't see it being possible. They're incapable of it.
I agree, it's most likely the latter even if there are ceasefires and agreements in place I cannot see the Russians keeping their word for long.
Don't presume you speak for everyone thanks very much.
I don't know why he cannot simply be banned from the forum for constantly violating his threadban.
Life must be wild in contrarian land.
lots of activity around Svatove, is there more land-grabs coming?
Good news: Ben Wallace is keeping his job as Defence Secretary. That likely means that Sunak won't be changing the pro-Ukraine stance of his predecessors.
It will benefit Putin..if he cannot have it, then he will make sure that Ukraine cannot have it either. Plus it plays well into his plans to make Life hell for the Ukrainians this coming winter. Evil bastard.
You seem to be an exception.....
Simples
Long time lurker. Great resource for keeping up-to-date, thanks for all the insights.
Also, thanks to all our comrades on page 1, this one's for you and those soon to join you...
That clown has changed Google Incognito for me forever 😂 so I had to make a few edits.
yes the whole thing will be settled by a negotiated settlement. BUT it starts ONLY when the time is right. It’s the same with a cereal farmer - he only sows his cereal when all the ducks are lined up / right eg the soil is adequately prepared, the soil is dry enough, the temperature is right ,the seed is available, labour is available , etc, etc. so as with this Special Operation a number of things must be in place before negotiation start - one thing comes to mind and which does not exist at the moment ie THRUST. So i, IMO it will take a long, long long time for that duck to be in place
Something brewing in Poland
Great to see gains on three different fronts at the moment (Kherson, Luhansk and the push-back at Bakhmut).
I predict more cruise missiles visiting Ukrainian cities the the near future.
The Russians are back near Cork again. The above link says underseas cables linking the Faros and the Shetland islands have already been cut very recently. We need to be prepared for what those Russians are planning for our undersea cable system.
It seems the CPC letter was drafted/signed months ago:-
And some already distancing themselves from it:-
There only reparations the UKR will get from Russia will be from their seized funds, just not in the RU way of doing things. Negotiation with Russia is the same as agreeing with their list of demands. I can see this ending like N/S Korea with a kind of semi stable non combative war, a heavily armed and fortified DMZ border zone and with regular sword waving and threats from the Russian state.
Step in the right direction OK, but still not descriptive enough.....( and besides Hyena's provide a very useful function in nature.) I think that the name will have to come from some inorganic source, results of some kind of scientific / medical experiment that went badly wrong. But what? From time to time, you hear about Frankenstein like experiments, with unspeakable results. Now something from that category would fit the bill nicely.
Could it be related to the unspecified NYT article about Russian nukes, they keep some in Kaliningrad.
Doubts over this at the moment. Sources are unconfirmed. But hopefully just nothing.
