I am expecting two or hopefully four imminently.. Definitely two , from a rescue friend ... Can never have too many cats...
I barely set foot outside yesterday after a very early stroll up the lane watching the clouds climbing up the mountans..one of my most favourite spectacles ... Just a quiet weekend out here... with my three cats and in anticipation of at least two more due soon. Working on a very big charity knitting order... watching old youtubes of the Bill and All creatures that I missed...
Planning a repeat today.. Old age is bliss at times.. and a large gift of knitting yarn due any minute...

Just saw one of my memories on facebook was of a big effort to trap a stray dog, between a rescue and local people we were at it for nearly two weeks before they gave in and decided to sedate her enough.. Beautiful creature she was, absolutely worth the endless trips to the deli for chicken and sitting in long grass in the rain..

Hah also me in my youth. I tamed more cats that were dumped at sheds for mousing than i can remember 🤣
