If it is, then it speaks to Musks misunderstanding of how Democracy works. Russias strongmen simply don't understand either. They cannot understand that if someone is not up to the job then democracy **** them out on their ear. Thats is why "weak strongmen" like Putin and Medvedev fear Democracy, they would not have the strenght to last 30 days in a real Parliament.
They fear it, and fools like Musk do not understand it.
So you think Ukraine should just hand the country over to Russia and let Russians rape, murder, and torture their people? Well it’s either you think that is ok or else you weren’t thinking when you were typing.
Is Scholz still in a coma?
Yes.
Yes Putin is the one who has to ask his country men to die for him.
I see a certain poster has popped back up with their usual tactics of discussing absolutely anything but Russia and its actions.
Nobody on this side of the world is forcing Ukraine to fight back against Russia.
Ukraine do not want negotiations about relinquishing any of their territory to Russia, or an end to the invasion with a caveat about what Ukraine can and can’t do afterwards.
Ukraine are fighting back regardless of what support they get from the west and it seems are willing to die and suffer regardless if they have weapons and support.
it’s not anybody’s choice bar Ukraines wether they die for their country or not.
Ukraine have asked for help and have gotten it.
...
Yep, it's on my feed.
Maybe, but fortunatly instead of a actual Super Power, it was annexed by the Russian Federation. So there’s a good possibility of them getting it back.
Also those nukes are only theoretically functional…like the heads of those in the Kremlin.
Yes:-
In the comments of that Tweet.
The leaders of the "superpower" thretening the world with nuclear weapons.
This is one of those internet arguments that has absolutely no bearing on reality whatsoever. Wondering whether Ukraine should have a referendum in the middle of an illegal invasion to decide whether it should defend itself is the illusion of debate and logic. It’s using words that sound like they mean something, but have absolutely no practical relevance whatsoever.
Seeing footage on the TV of Putin out at a military shooting range firing rifles and meeting and greeting soldiers. Didn't look like a guy on deaths door with cancer/parkinsons/MS or whatever people said he had back in March/April. Looked in good spirits unfortunately.
Video of a Russian cruise missile, reportedly over Zaporizhzhya today, being shot down
Reports of missile strike at crossing near Nibulon in Nova Kakhovka
This is a great shot
Looks like Russia have been busy since the 90s then with internal and external conflicts and their masterplan as well.
You probably think a new world order is in the making and the earth is flat as well

It seem pretty good for Ukraine so far, that have taken back more annexed and occupied areas in a month, than Russia have taken in 5 months
They showed someone under a camo net shooting,
They didn't show oul vladi shooting
Couple more shipments of "help" to ukraine and pentagon can close the shop since they outsorced most of the production capabilities to China quite some time ago.
Full report:
"the earth is flat as well"
Wait, what, you mean it isn't?
Ah here we must discuss this in the conspiracy thread 🤔
Lets be honest. The only outsourcing done to China is plastic consumer trinkets. You can buy a plastic pot from China, you can by a pen from China, you can by a Sofa from China, you can buy Glass from China.
But the metal stamper machinery, the pallet wrap machine, the Plastic moulding machine, The CNC router used to manufacturer those petty little things were made in The US, Germany or Italy. The semi conductors used to control the machinery were made in Taiwan, US, Netherlands, South Korea, Ireland or Hungary.
Not only that, but neither the Daily Mail article or original Heritage Foundation report on US military strength mention anything at all about the Pentagon outsourcing to anyone, let alone China. Nor does it mention any threat to the supply of arms to Ukraine. That poster's abilities in reading comprehension are questionable at best.
"Conservative think tank comes to the conclusion that US Government needs to funnel more money into it's defence industry"
It's like asking your barber if he thinks you need a haircut.
They might be right or wrong but were they ever really going to come to any other conclusion?
There was another poster here a while ago Gregor. He admitted he did not even read articles he posted.
So well spotted sir!
Lizzy, quite incredible though it may seem, I'd say that quite a few posters on this thread know very well what it's like to live in the conditions you have just described, no running water (and where it is, it cannot be trusted) on/off electricity (when it works) and lots of other "inconveniences" as well.
And these people know very well the devastation Putin (and his equals) cause the population.
No country has a referendum to decide whether to defend itself or not. Jesus Christ. If the people didn't want to follow this path it would be very evident and the they'd have lost the war already.
Interestingly Zelensky got a higher proportion of the vote in the areas annexed by Russia than he did in the rest of Ukraine.
Or could it be something quite as simple as Russia now needs these weapons for use in Ukraine (or defense of Russia itself?) The benefits to Israel being a useful side effect?
My Grandmother told stories of her time growing up as child back then. Europe should never go back to those dark days and yet not far too the east it starts again.
Except its not a superpower anymore is it Lizzy? And the much talked about and threatened nuclear weapons Putin has are a double-edged sword. And he knows it, otherwise he would have used them before now. And as for economic decline....that has been well covered in this thread. Russia is a busted flush.
