So using the numbers you provided above, US arms sales = 0.4% of GDP. That does not equate to 'heavily dependent'.

I think the timing of all the revolts/protests in Iran is very telling. USA want to disrupt their Government and give them problems at home to worry about, so as to restrict the level of their co-operation with Russia. Pure hearsay but not unlike the CIA at all.

The thing about that as well is that referring to the Soviet Union masks a lot of data. The reality is that Ukrainians suffered more than Russians at the hands of the Nazis, per capita. Stalin used Belarus and Ukraine as buffers to protect Moscow and they both ended up being occupied and suffered accordingly

There are many many more so your 0.4% is meaningless. The fact remains, it's big business. 100 billion in annual sales for those 3 companies alone.
It's big business yes, but in terms of percentage of GDP it's not, the US has approximately $24T GDP, last year total arms export was valued at $138B (a drop of approximately 21% following arms export reforms) that's only 0.58% of GDP.
Even without the 21% drop arms export averaged 0.69% of GDP.
To summarise US arms export does not even account for 1% of GDP, it's barely over half of one percent.

I suggested an end to the EU flogging away at the dead horse of that nuclear agreement (I think as recently as August they were still at it?) + instead going along the US sanctions (which you frowned on as "hypocritical" in your post(s) crying for Iran being dealt with so unfairly when all they want to do is sell some weapons like everyone else).
If they want to develop nuclear weapons I expect they will succeed some day, I am quite pessimistic about ability to stop nuclear proliferation long term.
