You would worry for her. Like a lot of people who are gripped by narcissism, an overestimation of their abilities, and where their hubris was previously rewarded for many years - when their delusion meets reality, the pyschological wall they hit is particularly hard.

- buried the Queen,
- caused a run on UK pension funds,
- tanked sterling,
- needed the BoE to step in to save the economy from collapsing,
- made Brexit under Boris look like a runaway success,
- had 2 chancellor's,
- multiple backbench revolts,
- put Labour at 50%+ in the polls.
Stuff like that wouldn't happen in a decade normally. 🤣

Another way to manipulate this so that there is only 1 candidate remaining after the MP vote is for the 1922 committee to set a super high threshold for round 1. They then engineer it so that the preferred candidate, and only the preferred candidate, could meet that threshold. Something like, say 120 votes. Anyone not meeting that threshold is eliminated. The ERG head-bangers wouldn't be able to get someone like Braverman or Badenoch* over that on their own and so they'd be eliminated.

The people didn't vote for this. They have to go to the country. The UK is in an incredibly bad place. It feels like a terminal decline unless they do some kind of alignment to the eurozone that allows them to raise barriers to trade.
Can't see anyway now that Scotland doesn't break off and rightly so for their own prosperity.
