This Tory backbencher seems one of the good guys. Admits that Truss and her entire cabinet are a shambles and are only interested in power for power's sake.
Telegraph reporting that Sir Graham Brady has met Truss today - the second time in 72 hours. If Walker's outburst above is indicative of the backbenchers feelings, she won't last much longer.
The Tories can't realistically get away with appointing a third Prime Minister though. It won't help them electorally at all. They simply do not have the mandate to do this and appointing a third PM in the space of as many months will infuriate voters.

The Tories are absolutely f*cked in the next election. I would be inclined to think that, if they get rid of Truss now, they should take the electoral hit now instead of allow all of this to fester until 2024 with a third or possibly even 4th PM in this cycle. It will only get worse before it gets any better for them.
However, political parties are so power hungry that long-term planning is completely alien to them. The Tories are no different.

Which is why Braverman is 16/1 right now to be the next Tory leader. She wont be 16/1 when they get back to work in the morning, more like 4 or 5/1. Just put a fiver on it myself for a bit of interest
