Tonight's fracking vote is the essential test for Truss, Tory MP's have been told its a triple whip and they must vote against the Labour motion.
Three have already said they will not side with the party with members being warned if they don't oppose the Labour motion they face being expelled from the Conservative party.
If anymore go against Truss then surely she will have to resign and a GE called.
This probably explains the scathing tone of that resignation letter

This is getting beyond a joke at this stage. Funny how a breach of the rules which even a tory on sky news said is a minor breach leads to a resignation. And I find it funny that before the letter it was stressed that it wasn’t a parting on “policy differences” and then you read the second paragraph and it’s a literal list of differences. The Tory party are imploding in real time.
Apparently Braverman and Truss had a huge bust up over immigration and visas last night and this was the real reason for her resignation. The email leak thing is allegedly a smokescreen by Braverman and didn't actually happen at all.

I think it's true that anyone who votes against the three line whip on fracking will be ejected from the party, and can no longer voice no confidence in the "letters" to Graham Brady to get rid of Truss.
