It's all falling apart alarmingly fast for Boris Johnson across the water. How long you reckon he has left as British Prime Minister? Hours surely?
How many parties are they talking about now? I've lost count.

His posturing at the last GE helped get the Tories the majority they have.
EDIT: How is Brexit not complete? The UK left the EU; that is the definiton of Brexit and Bojo got it done
The impact all of this is having on Brexit.
Think it's more a case of "The Impact Brexit is having on all of this"
And who exactly would Nigel Farage like the Tories to be replaced with?
Labour??
Theres nothing formidable or anything to admire about her, she’s utterly useless, clueless and corrupt. She’s on now lying through her teeth again, something something Putin something something, what a fool.
I'm assuming this chancer is thinking of relaunching his political career.
Love how she called on the Telegraph and Sun reporters for the first questions and they basically asked her why she wasn't stepping down - Ooof!
Wow. Fecked off after 5 questions
Edit: 4 questions!
The TUC doing some excellent trolling 🤣
Absolutely glorious moment.
She shouldn't mention Putin anymore.
If Putin had put a puppet government in Downing Street, they could scarcely be more damaging than this actual one.
Thank God we chose sense and stability.
Her press conference has caused the GBP to crash by another 1%
Every time she opens her mouth she is costing her country tens of billions of pounds
The problem is they never really pay any real price though imo....not the kind of price that acts as any real deterrent.....I'm not sure mogg et Al sit up at night and worry about not being popular....wouldn't surprise me if they might see it as something they can leverage or just wait until a vacuous news cycle moves on...
If renumeration/access to further goodies/jobs etc were at least to some extent dependant on the economic performance of country and/or sustainability and/or making a measurably more democratic society then you might not have such colossal messes created in the first place.
As it is they will probably get greater reward for doing what they've done than if they tried to do it right...
Part of the problem as I see it is the way the game has evolved and its not as if the players are going to change the rules and cut a stick for themselves.....they have after all found a way to win at the current rotten game they play.
I don't understand the thinking behind getting rid of Kwasi. Sure, it probably lifts the direct pressure off Truss for a short time, but she sold this as her policy and even in her speech she said she would continue pursuing it in the medium term.
So why get rid of him?
Some odds news (which is meaningless obviously, but might be of interest).
Starmer has taken a walk in the next PM market, out to 3/1 from odds-on last week. Not because he's done anything wrong, more just the market expecting that a different Tory will take the role before a GE. Sunak now fav at 2/1, but various other candidates are Mordaunt 5/1, Hunt 7/1, with Johnson, Wallace and Gove at 12/1. Year of Truss exit, 2022 is now narrow favourite at Evens ahead of 2023. 2022 3/1 was available yesterday. Sigh. British Politics Liz Truss Exit Date Betting Odds | Politics | Oddschecker
I don't think the twisted self-serving words from a professional troll who couldn't manage to get elected to WM are worthy of quoting!
Failed 7 times. Worth mentioning and emphasising IMO.
She needs to be ousted and replaced by someone fit for the job. It won't stop them losing the next election but it should reduce the gap in the polls as Tory voters come home.
Scapegoat. It was either him or her. A head had to roll and none of these careerists believe in service or sacrifice so she made the obvious call.
The fact that one of those times he also got fewer votes than a dolphin is also worth mentioning and emphasising.
I remember an early episode of The Crown which suggested Queen Lizzie was getting ready to chuck out Churchill over a smog crisis in the capital. Just a drama of course but is there any truth that the crown had that power and could King Charlie step in and take Truss out?
Not if he wants to continue the gravy train that is the monarchy.
No. Parliament is sovereign. Any intervention like that would likely be the end of the monarchy.
Chaz III has no power to do such a thing unless he wants to generate a constitutional crisis.
The most likely scenario is Starmer calls a vote of no confidence. Truss loses that. Up to the Tory party to bungle together someone to send to the palace whereupon they'll asked to form another zombie cabinet or they may elect to ask to dissolve parliament.
That was a fascinating episode. Elizabeth herself was very unsure of the constitutional position and whether she had the right to effectively sack Churchill. If the drama was correct, she had made the decision to 'fire' him but he pulled a couple of PR stunts at the last moment to get himself back in favour with the public and the media.
In theory the King could dismiss the PM, but in reality it won't happen, the Fixed Term Parliaments Act 2011 complicates the ability and would likely as noted cause a constitutional crisis.
The Monarch has sacked a PM in the past, it last happended in the UK in 1834 when King William IV sacked William Lamb.
The Fixed Term Parliaments Act has been repealed.
Sorry yes I forgot about the Dissolution and Calling of Parliament Act 2022, which essentially restored the powers of the Monarch to a similar status prior to the 2011 Act.
BOJO was a useful idiot for the billionaire class who hide their money in and through London, he will not return because he is an embarrassment and the job they gave him has been achieved (Brexit). His will be a life of cushy after dinner speeches and he will never be a force in politics again.
Liz Truss is and always has been a delusional stupid little women who imagined she could be the Queen of England. This is the women who couldn't find her way out of a room she had just walked into. Giving money to the rich when a sizable proportion of the people are literally starving - how dumb is that and how did she imagine that it would go through with cheers of recognition for her genius of recycling a failed neoliberal ideology.
The UK is in meltdown mode and it will end in violence as the people finally realize they have been played for fools for the last decade.
Well you need a right pair of balls or whatever else, to get where she has. And you have to give her some credit for that blind belief in herself.
