However, Lukashenko is despised in Belarus and most would agree it would be political suicide and the question would have to be asked does he hold enough power and sway to rule with an iron fist should they enter the war. Probably not even close.
Russia has already raided Lukashenko's arsenal of tanks and ammo, so what is left for his army that is probably already on a knifes edge? An easy guess would be training of recent mobilised Russian troops to prevent Ukraine reinforcements.
