Is there a report or a written instruction in the prison system that shows that Burke be moved because he is "annoying" other prisoners.
If not, then the Burke's have a point.
We can't just make up facts because we don't like him or his family.
The article in the Independent said that he had been moved for that reason.
Ammi Burke claimed that the Prison service had denied this , but did not provide any evidence of that nor did she confirm or deny that he had been moved (regardless of possible reasons)
The paper claimed he was, the Prison have confirmed the claim is false, on this the Worlds most annoying family may be in the right. So whether it was intentional or not, the paper have given this debacle oxygen.

Given the track record , I'll believe her when she hands it over to the court.
It would be a strange, and damaging claim to make in the High Court without written proof to support it.
I do agree with you though, anything is possible with these nutters.
Is it stranger than being in prison for about 6 weeks it must be now just because you felt that your made up man in the sky is more important than following court orders?

They didn't , Ammi Burke claimed to have a letter from them saying he hadn't been moved for annoying others , but she hasn't provided that to the court yet.

Not knowing anything about HC proceedings, but could she/the Judge compel the Prison warden to come to Court and detail why he was moved?
Just show the court the letter why would they need anyone from the prison staff to come if that exists?
Yes and due to her newly found leisure-time, and she has all the time in the world to chase this case around the houses on behalf of her brother. Round and round and round, looking for attention and financial support from similar-minded organisations.
Taking anything on trust from one of that family is extremely naive.

Documentation produced in court isn't always taken at face value. You sometimes need a witness(s) to give evidence that it is genuine.
Anyway, it must be fairly annoying for some people who are waiting years to get a hearing in the High Court having to wait while Burke's sh1te is taking up so much of the Court's time.
It's difficult to prove a solicitor/barrister lied to the High Court. A solicitor/barrister only has to phrase a question or statement with "It's my client's view" or "according to my client etc." and then they aren't telling lies even if what they are saying is 100% untrue. They can claim they are only going on the instructions given to them by their client.

Todays papers report he's brought his case to the court of appeal, though I'm not sure if it's the contempt imprisonment or the suspension and bar from teaching order he's appealing.
He's not challenging the contempt, it's everything else and some additional bits.
He really is going for the "throwing at a wall until something sticks" defence.

He's a prick, but he never really had a chance did he.
I doubt people hate him, though he's certainly getting a reaction because of his messing about.
What's pissing off a lot of people is how his case is being misrepresented as him being pjnished for his beliefs when he is being punished for refusing to comply with a court order. That and the time he's taking up in the courts, the money being paid for his wages and his prison stay and the media attention this is all getting.
Ammi Bourke was up in court not too long ago for an unfair dismissal hearing (she may well have lost it, as well) and, iirc, herself and the mother were constantly interrupting and badgering the judge. I think the mother was found to be in contempt of court. And now she's representing her brother.
This family are entitled to their opinions but the way they seem to go about trying to convince others is certain to piss people off.
