Not sure if been posted here before but have many people started using the Waterford E-Parking app since it launched? I find it dead handy, stick an hour on it when you first park up then if you need to top it up you can do it on your phone from wherever you are. Saves having to rush back to the car. Hard to beat the €1 per hour rate in Bolton Street/Waterside/Millers Marsh too.
Spoke to a parking warden though and they are finding it awkward having to search the reg of every car that doesn't have a physical pay & display ticket to make sure they haven't paid via the app.
dont use it, but it looks very handy, i dont use my phone much, so i probably wont install it
Yep, I've used it ever since it came in. Very handy as I don't carry that much coins around anymore.
I find it difficult to have any sympathy for traffic wardens though 😀. But I thought there would be an easy way for them to track them.

I often wonder what kind of people have no appreciation for the time and effort others invest into things for others.

lots of very dysfunctional people out there, of which some have absolutely no respect for others and their property, dreadful shame, his work is incredible
Part of the problem is there are no consequences for the people who do these things even if they are caught. If they are caught it will be put down to being from a “disadvantage area” or “silly things people do when they are young”. It’s BS, they need to start getting a criminal record and doing community service. And if under 18 the parents need to face penalties also.
I really don’t get this. It’s well out in the country so these thugs would have had to make a special effort to go destroy it. Just no punishment for this kind of mindless destruction

Nice to see local people in the driving seat in Winterval again, it is all the better for it. I walked around this evening and the footfall and buzz is electric. Cold frosty nice forecast for the next 10 days so perfect for it.
yup, winters on the way, wouldnt be surprised if small parts of europe experience power supply problems cause of the cold
