Just sitting down after cooking a proper dinner for myself, normally I just pick as no one else is home for dinner these days, absolutely stuffed, spuds and onions were from a friend, home grown, I'll never move from the couch again.
Short work day tomorrow, took some AL as I think I'm on the verge of burnout, hair booked for Saturday, galavanting on Sunday and then rinse and repeat with work and sleep again next week...have given up on the lotto Gods.ππ
It's been a long week, I can't wait for the weekend.
Yes bring on the weekend, Iβm exhausted. Had no energy this week at all. Am supposed to be meeting a friend for a drink tomorrow but she suggested 8:30 and Iβm not sure Iβll last that late π
Another exhausted head here the last two weeks.
Thankfully I don't have much stress at the minute, I'm actually enjoying my work/life at the minute but by god I'm wrecked.
I think I'll get bloods done to see where I'm at.
It's Friday tomorrow, hang in there, all π₯±
I was recently diagnosed with a severe and incurable malady called dontwanttoworkitis.
Met the KING this morning

That song will now live rent free in your head ππ
Homeside, just about to head to the hospital for a change of dressings. Anyone know who conducted those unauthorised rain dances?
Praise the lords itβs Friday ππππ₯³π₯³π₯³

On my way home from giving two early morning lectures and sorting out research group work for my 3rd year undergrad students as part of the new job.
Have two dissertation students to meet by Zoom after lunch - nearly (or hopefully nearly!) at final write-up stage as submission is due on the 31st.
Been a very long and very busy week work-wise - really looking forward to the weekend!
Me in 30 minutes
The weekend ...
... Hallelujah here she comes!
I've still got a couple of hours left here ... But then ...
Few hours until I start π porridge weather too
*Checks the weather radar* That looks like it'll clear before you have to get a move on @Gremlinertia
Just over an hour to go here. Can't wait if I'm honest, the early start and hospital visit was a bit much... might work from the sofa for the last hour...
These trees reflect my mood.
Got a message from our maid saying thst Munster (Mutt) was sick and vomiting since yesterday. She had called the vet but he was away for the weekend.
An hour later she said that he was on his bed and wasn't breathing. Looks like he had a heart attack at 13.
Cutting our vacation short and flying back tomorrow so thst I can bury him.
Had some wonderful times with him, he was my bud.
Have a picture of him on his bed, but it's too sad a picture to post.
So sorry to hear that smurf, it's heartbreaking to lose a furry friend. 13 is a great age for a lab and he had a happy life with you both.
@smurfjed aww no I'm so sorry. Loved his happy face in the car. RIP Mutt
Oh my! I'm very sorry to hear that, smurf. He looked very happy always so he was well looked after and had a good life β€
Aw Smurf, Iβm so sorry to hear that π₯Ί will miss his happy face going for a drive.
Sorry to read this. Thats real tough. I used love photos of him.
He always looked like he was smiling Smurf, he was so much part of the Wherer family, thinking of you.x
God that's so sad to hear @smurfjed
I loved the photos of him. Always made me smile and happy.
Hope you all manage ok.
I'm soo sorry to hear that @smurfjed .
You loved him so much, that was obvious, and I'm sure he always knew it.
So sorry to hear that @smurfjed . It's never easy to lose a much beloved pet .
Thinking of those poor lads in Donegal tonight on the rescue/recovery effort after that explosion, terrifying thing.
Some shocking haunting news last couple days in Ireland.
Just heard about that on the car radio, horrifying.
We often forget about those who are the first responders/paramedics/fire crews , who deal with this face on .
That explosion in Donegal is horrific, I wonder what caused it?
