Got tickets for the Bono gig too. Pricey tickets but not as extortionate as I thought they would go thankfully.
Was looking at both ! but went for Sigrid in Mitchelstown, and got tickets for it.
Booked Sigrid in Bundoran. Certainly a novel gig! Intimate certainly is the word!
If you were to recommend Sigrid to someone, what would you advise them to listen to first?
110 euro for my seats, very expensive.
Will wait to see what the format of the shows is like, if its just him droning on I wont bother going.
But if there is a fair bit of singing then I will go.
I forgot about the Bono presale this morning. Will try my luck tomorrow in the general sale.

Mine were the same. Expensive alright but they are decent enough seats and I did worry they would be over €150 given the exclusivity of the night. The ticket comes with the book as well which, whilst not a huge extra, is a nice inclusion than them trying to pedal it at the merch booth.
I haven't heard any of it so I'm afraid I can't comment! 😁

I received a new set of 4 tickets for this gig today. The new tickets show the price as €2 cheaper per ticket than the originals. Ticketmaster also refunded €8 to my credit card. Anyone else get this ? You'd think they would email an explanation?!
noticed something similar when i was looking at paul heaton tickets, show up as €40.05 plus fees on the search screen but jump to €42.05 plus fees on the payment screen. not sure why
Def leopard are playing Marley Park on July 4th next with Motley Crew. Delighted as I can walk to the gig and Def Leopard always put on a great show.

No shock Fozzys gig in the national stadium has been moved to opium, don't know what they were thinking attempting the NS.
Is there much difference in size ?
Saw them in the Opium last December and it was rather meh both Fozzys performance and the venue. Jericho and Co sure love touring

Yea, I think NS is slightly bigger/around the same as the Olympia and opium is bigger than whelans, I'd guess it holds 500-600?

Even with the new album out it'll be roughly the same setlist. Never heard of the Support bands for this tour
Going to Biffy Clyro in the 3Arena the same night and no doubt be a much better show
Theyre not a band that would seem like they'd get any bigger either. To drop into a venue about a quarter of the size is insanity, seriously over estimated the show

Trying to remember was the capacity cut last year due to the covid restrictions or was Opium lucky enough to escape them ?
Opium 550? was there for Evergrey back in September maybe a region of 250 there perhaps and didn't look sparse very small not the best layout either.
Nightwish (pending Floors health) playing alone on their date here it seems support for rest of dates have mysteriously dropped off the bill.
