In case I forgot in a month, I cancelled immediately but they offered me Entertainment at €6/month and Sky Sports at €13/month for the next 3 months, and Sky Sports Extra for €10 for the next 6 months.

I have the now movie subscription from above, I have the now app on my iPhone and can cast to my tv , using Chromecast.
However I cannot figure this out on my MacBook Pro , I press cast on chrome operating system (not safari) and it mirrors my screen however when I go to play the movie it leads me to now tv player and movie turns on my Mac and not to the tv. Any ideas ( tv is Samsung 8 years old and Chromecast 4 years old)
I sign out of my account on my iPhone in case that was the issue but still the same

Hi all, apologies if this has been asked before, do the likes of rte player and virgin media player work on a now tv stick for live tv? I have only ever used the now tv app myself but thinking of getting a stick for an elderly relative and getting rid of their sky box. Access to live rte and VM channels is a must though. Thanks

I signed up for a sports offer at 13.99 for 3 months and then cancelled during first month as i got a sports +sports extra stick for 14.99 .
when I went to upload the new stick it said i could only apply the voucher after 22nd dec (end of 3 on this original offer ).
Anyone know will it let me apply the voucher once the first offer ends (22nd october) ?
Its because Now TV has a standalone app that plays whatever you're watching on Mac, not in your chrome browser. Apple does not support chromecast in Mac OS, you can only cast using Chrome browser from a mac OS device. Only way to do put your Now TV app onto a big screen with a macbook is via apple TV or similar airplay compatible device or plugging in a HDMI unfortunately.
If you cancel the offer you have now, let it expire then on Oct 22nd you will be able to use vouchers.

Hey Folks, I grabbed about 10 sports bundle sticks (yes I was a tad greedy, but it is cheap) curious how long can I keep them before the code expires without any activation ?
It mentions on the back of the outer packaging that it must be activated within a year of purchase. I don't see how they could match the purchase date up with that timeline, more likely just to cover themselves if in a years time they overhaul the system with some other way of purchashing.
I bought three sports sticks. My current sports subscription and sports extra subscription expire at different times. Are the the vouchers that come on the stick combined as one package or seperate?

When you activate the Now stick, it will push your existing subs for Sports and Sports Extra on a month. In my case it went from 24 Oct to 24 Nov for Sports and 30 Oct to 30 Nov for Sports Extra.
I have to say though that the amount of e-waste that these sticks create is beyond ridiculous. I have kept the batteries and one plug and cable but after that the rest goes in the bin. It is shockingly wasteful.

I would also be FASCINATED if you could point me in the direction of any legislation to back up your fantasy of there being a ban on chucking electronic items in a bin?
What principle? You bought a load of sticks and chuck them in the bin after you get the code. I have bought one stick and I use the various codes in this thread to save money rather than chuck a load of ewaste in the bin.
Have you heard of weee? it was specifically set up for the free disposal of ewaste seeing as you are so concerned
