Not a good use of points while you can still convert live to gamepass. Pricing 3 years there for when mine expires soon looks about €140 before I shop around.
very much agreed, with the conversion and especially geo based loopholes still working, it's quite poor value for rewards points
I detailed my last 3 year top up a few months back in the other thread, it came to about £80 iirc

Just giving more examples of what points can be spent on.
If you've just recently upgraded your GPU for 3 years, it's probably the last time you'll be able to do that, so tacking on an extra 3 months with your points might be an option :)
Personally, I always use my points for store credit. Buy a game from my wishlist or and accessory!
I'm thinking of saving mine for an elite controller. How many points does that need? (someone save me the calculations please...)
I get the 7% Level 2 discount on points for store cards.
The Elite v2 is €180
To get enough points to cover cards for this, it'd take 167,400 points :)

I noticed this on the Bing homepage just now. Three 10 point links appeared and now it's starting to count the daily set which has said "Your streak 0 days" on the app forever. We finally seem to be getting more and more points opportunities now 🙂
There'll likely be more than 3*10 point links for the daily set, the middle one is usually a 3 question daily quiz that's worth 30. There are normally a handful of addition 10 point links below too which aren't counted as the "daily set". Good that there are more for you guys.
When I hit the play a gamepass game quest today, it'll put me on 200k, bit of a milestone.

Just noticed there now they added Amazon gift cards for Irish accounts, 15200 points for £10. Steep points to pound conversion there surely?
It's an awful conversion rate!
But it is nice to have more options.
An app I use for rewards from work converts £10 to €11.40 right now. The above is the equivalent to €15.20 before Level 1 and 2 discounts.
I think it's a terrible conversion but at least it's an alternative for being tied to spending your points in the Microsoft store only.
Usually at Christmas I spend a bucket on Amazon so it'd be handy for that... But no... Must keep eye on prize of Series X...
Brother was telling me they are bringing out a new model version of Series X though . So think I'll give it another year of points collecting.

I think there's a white one coming soon enough but an actual change up of the build I'd say is another year or two off. The world is still in a bunch with micro-processor shortages and the likes. Some of the lead times we've been quoted for Cisco kit in work would make you drop your monocle 😲

Yeah, any "new" version that comes out in the near future will be a pure die shrink and nothing else, it'll be cheaper for MS to make, but that's about it. Same as with the PS5, they're onto their third revision, and it's all about making it cheaper and easier to produce.
The consoles are freely available as far as I can see, they're on the Microsoft store right now.
Interesting, when I go through the store on my console it doesn't show up, but through webpage on phone it is available!
Anyhow, wouldn't be buying it this soon.
