It was hilarious, they had to have been sitting on boards 24/7 🤣 they would claim them within seconds. Like how many free bits do you need, most of the stuff was sugary. I think you could see were redeemed so that’s how we knew where.
Dark chocolate or Plasters for 3rd card
Not sure if anyone else gets the same 'extra' deals - maybe you have to opt-in first , so they can process your spending habits - but this is the first attempt to hook sale you something else (along the lines of - you might be interested in this and that from social media apps )
in our office not everyone got the hardware deals - some got discounts on cookware or nothing at all
Tuna offer didn't work for me today and teller said they told head office yday. Texted them and they said they didn't know and added €2 to my account :)
i have joined parkrun as a result of this after enjoying the fruits, and lidl are coming this week to our parkrun so thats kind of handy, giving out bits of fruit as well it says. Noice !
but as for the other bargains not as good as before and yes, i often get stung on over pricing compared to shelf pricing, most items i wouldnt have picked up except for the price reduction on the shelf label, and they really take their time over the refunds when i point them out , but they do eventually hand it over, its just another stress shopping there, to have to check the receipt before you leave the shop. other shops do it too, but not as much.
the Lidl parkrun has been mentioned on TikTok you can guarantee it will be cancelled now

all this buzz is making Lidl marketing team get the big bonuses , for reaching high and wide
swipe left generation wouldn't keep going to the shop, if ONE time they went the product is OOS; they prefer to swipe left and have it order and delivered for free at your door ...
Lidl has enough knowledge from the other markets on how to jack up or dial down the shoppers interest : For ireland, start with free items only when you purchase something and work your way up to free 1 product/day not every x hrs ; if footfall drops, give €1 for 2-3 weeks at scrachcard
Tuna offer still not working this evening got caught out and I'm not causing a scene for 38c. 2 days and not fixed is pretty shabby from them though
Text them, I got €2 voucher added to account
I can see parkrun codes being cancelled too.
I'm in the fb group out of pure fomo 😁 I've asked for nothing and no way will I pm my lidl code to anyone. What I think will be the final nail in the coffin is its not just the parkrun code itself being shared, it's people passing on their code if they won't use it. And all the posts asking for parkrun items. And people in both posts hopping on the bandwagon commenting I want them too!!
Lidl parkrun offers are incredibly generous, they're healthier and generally more expensive items than the scratch cards. I'd say they'll either stop doing them or change to cheaper products like 1 free apple or banana.
Some people grab up to 10 of a freebie - you see the same users popping up frequently as admin don't seem to care about that and it's not all need, it's greed. #rantover
Sounds like they reeled you in hook line and sinker.
How do other Lidl Plus countries deal with social media sharing of codes etc.? It has been around four years in other countries, compared to two years here
I am signed up for Park Run (I have even done a few), but no issue with the nuts in Bray anyway. However, didn't get the free chocolate due on the App yesterday! Didn't spot it until I was away from the store.
Other countries do t have freebies..most places you get a percentage discount on a random item
Free eggs outside Lidl Cavan
yep, in other countries you don't get freebies at every shop.
Their local reward scheme implies a free product when you reached a certain threshold on spending : sometimes is a discount on your next purchase ( with a reasonable max limit ) or a free food item
You might have to zoom into the barcode to get a proper screenshot of it
It can be used in any Lidl
I was in Dunnes today and the price of 6 Free Range Eggs went up from €1.89 to €2.25, a lot more than 2c per egg. I just checked the Tesco website and they are charging the same. So it's 12c for the farmers and 24c for the supermarket .. it quite literally is one for you and two for me. 19% increase to the consumer instead of 6%. Every time you go to the shop now the prices have soared by this kind of percentage. it's totally out of control.
Egg prices to go up everywhere
Thank you @Minimarkcork for sharing the €10 off €50
what is this for?
How do you use the barcode? Can you scan it on the app?
worked for me thanks !
check previous messages
Not really Lidl plus related but I think more folk will be reducing their consumption of eggs because of the price increase so supermarkets need to slap their own increases on to make up for the shortfall in profits
Code worked for me thanks
So you scan it say at a self service till?
I think if you scan it at a self-service till, you only get a 1c discount. It requires some sort of manual intervention by the till operator to work properly.
There's lidls with self serve tills?
Most new and some refurb stores
