Yes feeding arable silage pre pm milking ….protein actually 17%
Still on 14% here, have you silage or maize in as well? I think 450 must check the last load.
445 18%
On this, given the amount of data centres we have Ireland is essentially sets the European GDPR playbook, we are the market leaders in GDPR
Not so much swept under the carpet, they have guidelines for deciding on a fine. Looking at those the duration is small, intention is not there, no previous thats known.
It might come down to how they interact and report it, which they seem to be on top of given their statements
When deciding whether to impose a fine and the level, the Data Protection Commission (DPC) must consider:
well if there aint a goodwill gesture to the farmers involved ,these complaints should be referred to the e.u. courts
What are people paying for dairy nuts atm?
If there's a massive fine the farmer will end up paying for it in some way
Your not entitled to anything and the company ain't going to voluntarily hand over cosh like that. I'd be shocked if they did anyway. One for the data commissioners to adjudicate on. GDPR and breaching those privacy guidelines can be a massive fine. Most times though it's swept under the carpet.
Ah right ,what we really want to know is what compo are the affected farmers entitled to ,should 1000 euro each cover it for goodwill
Doubt it. It's a SW **** up of some sort where the names and addresses were right and the content is wrong, or vice versa. All those statements are orchestrated via and automated batch job of some description. Some poor sap probably initiates the process which kicks off all sorts of stuff in the background to pull all the data together, then it all gets sent to some printing/letter handling business to actually print, fold and put into an envelope and seal it up.
I bet any money that if you got to look into it, that there's a mismatch between the data and the address by a factor of 1. So person B got person As data, C got Bs, etc, etc. A 1 dropped in an array or a piece of code for incrementing a number is placed in the wrong place of some piece of code loop. I'd also bet there was a SW update which happened around the time of the Tírlan introduction.
Unfourtnate but a major fook up and there has to be accountability
While ye are all shouting in anger at Glanbia it will probably be some poor sap who pressed the wrong button in the paper company that will end up out of work for Christmas
Email back this morning their looking into it
I wouldn't like anyone reading my milk statements
You’d know how many litres was sold to date and total last year
if you had a loan with Glanbia, how much it was for
how much money was being paid back in merchant debt
I couldn’t give a hoot about every joe soap knowing total litres sold or what I got for last months milk but the loans /merchant debt is sensitive data
Accountability only applies to the little people unfortunately
Agree it shouldn’t of happened and lads are right to be angry and want answers ….there has to be accountability and transparency in this from Glanbia
Some lads would put on weight looking at other lads milk statements!
It shouldn't have happened. You mightnt care who sees what but at the end of the day it's confidential information. Thankfully we don't get paper statements here
I think the name and address in the window on the envelope was correct but the rest of the statement belonged to another person.
Some people just take life a bit too serious at times.... No secrets in my statement anyway
Are they not on in window box envelopes so the name on the statement should be who it's addressed to? Can't figure out how they got delivered to the wrong houses
Out of curiosity that lads who got someone else's statement, did you learn anything? I can't imagine seeing someone else's statement would tell me a huge amount. Have to agree with 1373, it shouldn't happened but it did, there's lads on twitter talking about solicitors letters
Yeah, they work in an office, no doubt handling data that you've supplied to them. They aren't going around telling you what other lads are doing/getting/etc. Throw up yer statement there for us to have a look at.
People are so touchy these times. Mistakes happen, but some people have to head off to twitter to show the world the terrible wrong that has been done to them . In my coop, there's local men and women working in the office who knows all our business
Father Jacks underpants hamper would transform a scrub bull operation to high end tillage in no time!!😅
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well I have a man from a neighbouring parish, don't know him but rather not have got that..can only assume somebody has mine, hope they get the trading statement too.!!! I get online, so hadn't even looked at the one that came in the post yesterday until I heard of the cock up!!!
It's got to be one of the worst run companies of its scale in the country, what in the name of God were farmers paying through the nose to buy that **** show for!!
Not if you're on antibiotics..😉🤓
