It's really desperate stuff from the regime. If they're having to add crowd cheering sounds onto a pro-Putin and pro-war rally (where the crowd aren't cheering at all), it's all a bit ominous.
"How can Russians accept this?"
The same way we accepted the war in Iraq.
These two Russian Gentlemen and their families will certainly be suffering. Not only from their crippling injuries but the sheer amount of hatred they will now get back home (if they survived)
Putin- escalate to deescalate
Are we the baddies ???
Calling other people satanist while actually dressed up like the devil….
Anything on this that isn't on a rag of a paper?
They already entered Luhansk a few weeks ago with a small push into a town towards Lysychansk. It’s a small area, but does rob the Russians of any sense of having fully “liberated” any of the “Republics” there.
I believe they had actually managed to get all of Luhansk for a few weeks before Ukraine pushed back in. Pushing forward again now won’t make a difference. Lyman was in “Russian” Donetsk afterall.
Just to clarify. The rumour appears to be based on some substance, in that someone posted a video showing a train in Russia on the move, carrying equipment of a specialist unit reponsible for the storage, prepararation and transport of nuclear weapons (12th Main Directorate ) and somone misinterpreted that. Apparently this unit has engaged in exercises in autumn previously, so hopefully that is all it is that they are doing.
So as it stands the rumour is false in claiming weapons have been moved, but the movement of a unit that moves such weapons is possibly true, as there is a video of that.
Blow it up ref, I've seen enough.
..
Was Ireland involved in that war? Honestly I never knew that.
As for the UK, I remember massive protests at the time. I dont think it was a popular war at all.
Hmmmm, so their plan is to maybe detonate a nuke on their own territory as a warning. Truly a cunning plan. They should nuke Moscow to really show how serious they are.
Indeed, we didn't accept that war, the protests here were huge, I was there, likewise the global protests were among the largest anti-war protests ever held. Many countries didn't support the war, including traditional allies in Europe.
Ukraine and its allies, need to do as much damage to Russian military (and other infrastructure) now at the present time as they possibly can and hopefully finish this war within the next 6 mths, before Putin can mobilize his 2.5 million army, which will make it so much harder to do. While he is still far from finished presently, his army is taking a hard pounding, and losing one or two more major cities could well finish him off. Slava Ukraine.
popular or unpopular it still was war ... (tricked into by our closest ally) resulting in hundreds of thousands of deaths.
The way he has behaved so far with NATO briany, avoiding all contact with them, I'd say challenging NATO is the last he wants or needs. Unless he develops suicidal tendencies. On the other hand, NATO Countries are chafing at the bit to have a go at him!😏
I think the sight of a nuclear explosion with appreciable yield would frighten populations across the west.
Whether they actually do it is another thing. I don't think they will. I'd say they just want the headlines of "nuke movements". It's just bluster I'd say.
I don't see them doing a test on their own territory anyway.
Kreminna tonight, Svatore in the morning?
The northern flank is buckling.
Posted yesterday, was referring to civilians, not soldiers.
Ah, I'd say they need not worry overmuch about the US etc. knowing all about their revolutionary and advanced secret systems. The cash for those went into ocean going yachts, soccer clubs, and villas in Dubai etc.
They STOP receiving the latest window security patches surely… windows become defective🤪
I don't think either side is particularly willing to face each other directly. Not just because, anyway, for reasons well-established at this stage. But since the second world war, the sides have faced off indirectly, as we know. Putin had been whittling away at Western supremacy via a mixture of regional conflicts, strategic alliances and doing his bit to sow discord in Western countries. It's just that he didn't seem to have calculated that NATO would respond so vociferously in attempt to subjugate Ukraine. The problem for Putin now is that if he backs down in this conflict, he will know that he's been beaten by NATO and so will his public, because that's pretty much how he's been framing this conflict. Taking that L is something I don't believe he can personally tolerate, and even if he could tolerate it, all the hawks will be bringing the knives out for him and he must try to put a brave face on a situation where not only is his country facing heavy sanction and tremendous military loss, but has little to even show for it. Not an enviable position to be in for a militaristic despot like Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.
I think the prediction was an airburst over the Black Sea. Someone who knows about these things can comment on the true feasibility of that, though.
We allowed the Yanks funnel their arms and military through Shannon.
So yes, we were involved.
‼️The occupiers launched a rocket attack on a medical facility in the Kupyan district.
Unfortunately, an anesthesiologist was killed, and one nurse was injured. Information about the victims is still being clarified.
The building is almost completely destroyed from the 1st to the 4th floor. Rescuers and law enforcement agencies are working on the spot.
After this is over, none of the Orc rulling elite will ever be able to leave Mordor for a holiday in Europe without the prospect of ending it in jail cell near the Hague. Good thing they think Mordor is so great, because that's where they will live out their lives.
This war must be won on Ukraine's terms. There's no sense in the collective West being worried about what mr putrid in the kremlin may or may not do with his toys. To do otherwise invites endless nuclear blackmail, if not by him then by others.
Keep with the Radek Sikorski school of diplomacy, to paraphrase, kick him in the balls.
They’re going to carry out a nuclear test on the newly “liberated” land , it’s not an attack because it’s “their own land”
Escalate To De-Escalate: Russia’s Nuclear Deterrence Strategy
Yo! Fuhgeddaboutit! My boyz back home are WAY too well armed for them g**ks to stand a chance! Youze is talking Majah, MAJAH, Mob stronghold there!/jk
I grew up there. Terrifying crime ridden place. Glad to be in Ireland, still sometimes feels too close for comfort.
Is that not just a wordier way to say "playing chicken"?
