Looks like Busaras inside a bus.
The Russian troops hearts aren't in it. They are being now told to fight to the death and not retreat. Not a chance in hell they hold out as long as the Avozstal defenders.
On the BBC rolling coverage. At least 20 killed, half of them children. Everyday a new nadir:
So pointless. Putin is a sick sick man. It's the ultimate sign of an utter arsehole that he knows his army is a rolling joke so they resort to attacking innocent men, women and children. 😡
In fairness, if you thought you were going to the front and facing the very real possibility of (hopefully swift) death, the temptation to get absolutely bladdered on the bus there would be understandable. Being drunk on the battlefield itself is more the problem.
Getting serious now ... :)
A lot of truth in that, though the likes of General Mark Hertling says he is absolutely appalled and disgusted to see images of drunken Russian troops. He says he would personally court martial and kick out of the army any soldier who was drunk on active duty and while wearing the national uniform.
That just looks like lads having a final blow out before they go to war, they're not even in uniform. If there was mobilization here our buses would be the same.
Air raid sirens all over Ukraine at the moment. Looks like a massive retaliation for what happened at Lyman. Putin must be pissed.
Putin's hangover today from his party yesterday:

Maybe that's what the conscripts want... To be kicked out before having to deploy.
But as others have said, if I was being drafted, ya be sure to have one last booze up. May very well be your last.
But there are numerous anecdotal reports of Russian troops being drunk all the time. After Bucha and Irpin were liberated, local residents reported that one of the main features of the occupation was the Russian troops being drunk and disorderly every night (and these frontline troops were supposedly the creme de la creme of their armed forces).
I can understand that he's appalled in principle, but in practice I'm pretty happy to see these drunk soldiers as it ups the likelihood of Ukraine facing soldiers whose senses are impaired by monster hangovers, if not still being drunk.
Russia appears to be carrying forward their historical principle of raw grunt power as a winning strategy. It points to a real baseness to the way Russians approach military conflicts, making the apparently low standard in infantry conduct unsurprising. Nor would it be surprising if the Russians unveiled a recruitment drive promising all the free vodka soldiers could handle. "Будем здоровы!"
In the Kupyansk district, they found a shelled column with cars where civilians were located.
According to preliminary data, 20 people died in cars. Law enforcement officers and experts went to the scene. Investigative actions are being carried out. Details are being clarified.
The invaders attacked civilians who tried to escape from shelling. It is a cruelty that has no excuse.
Clearly this repeated attacking of fleeing civilians is deliberate, it may even be policy.
Lads like that don’t stop drinking. They are huge bottles of vodka. They will want more again tomorrow and the day after.
They'll be needing those extra big bottles - extra vodka to disinfect bullet wounds and as an anaesthetic for crude shrapnel removal surgery.
Conspiracy theories one
Good riddance.
Definitely policy - suffer military losses, take it out on civilians the next day.
Even Russia is admitting they've lost Lyman
Lyman, part of Russia - Sep 30th 2022 to Oct 1st 2022.
And the Ukrainan military is still rolling on to the next town /city get the feeling these annexations will be short lived
Same point as retirement age of 70 and dying at 69
Lyman today, lots of smiles
I'm relieved to see Lyman actually surrounded and starting to fall. Now the attention turns to the new frontline. Will Ukraine continue to see success? On paper they next line of defense should be weaker. Less Russian troops, less time to prepare, less equipment.
Kremina could be the big one but you'd also expect them to push north of Lyman and free the rest of kharkiv.
I still find it crazy they're sending so many troop's to Kherson when this is happening up North. The Russians aren't the brightest.
A big factor as well is that the Russians will know they won't be treated too badly if they surrender. While the avozstal defenders knew they couldn't expect to be treated well given Russia's less than exemplary human rights record. Which proved to be the correct in the end given the condition of a lot of the returned pows.
Lol
Something has happened at Belbek airfield in Crimea.
Local authorities claim a single aircraft skidded off the runway.
I saw a video of a Russian mortar crew off their heads.
That single aircraft is causing a lot of smoke.
Another death on Putin's hands (the clip stops before the guy does anything)
I presume he proceeded to take his own life, I know he would want this video shared
