Your pedanticism is appreciated here.
seven royals headed to say goodbye to the matriarch & monarch.
Air Corps doing a touch and go at Inverness? The PC-12, 283.
Anybody spot the time difference between BBC TV coverage of take off for G-LEGC and AR?
AR had it at 3000 feet while BBC was following it on the taxiway
Transavia France B738 reg F-GZHO (IST-NTE) squawking 7700
Edit: looks like emergency landing in Zagreb.
Landed safely and seems to be taxiing under own power off the runway.
IRL 280 currently on its way from Moldova
That must be a pretty unusual place for them to go.
Simon Coveney on the way home from Odessa?
I had no idea flightradar24 existed until I visited this thread a few days ago, incredibly interesting stuff. You could look at it for hours:
Fascinating to see all the planes making a bee line around Ukraine.
Is it worth getting the subscription? Seems there is enough in the free version, but it's so cheap it might be worth it anyway.
Funnily enough, we do!
If you don't fancy paying, you can also setup a monitoring station using a laptop/raspberry Pi and use that to upload fight data from your location and get a premium account for free! You can also upload it to ADSB Exchange for free too.
More stations are needed, especially on the West coast where the rescue helicopter will often drop off the map when serving the islands and inlets.
If people are interested in setting one up we can open a thread and share notes & guidance.
Funny you say that, as I do live on the west coast and just so happen to have two raspberry pis lying there gathering dust. Seems like an interesting little project to have ticking away
Two B52's seemingly lining up for a fly-over of London city.
Practice for Monday? Are Raspberry Pi essential for a station? Are they over "subscribed" on the south coast?
Maybe practice, if that's on the schedule.
Oversubscribed, no. But there is pretty good coverage. It can always be improved!
There appear to be 233 stations in Ireland for FR24, many of these would also share with other providers.
Flight Aware is a good one to add support to, it has good coverage on the East coast, but lacks badly on the West!
The Aran Islands are poorly covered, but yet many of the offshore deployments of the Shannon and Sligo rescue services center around there.
Was that AIRFORCE 1 that just passed over Cork/Kerry/Waterford.?
Possibly bringing Biden to London for the funeral.
Says it's #1 Worldwide aircraft being tracked. (Flightradar).
GRIM99, oh they know how to name them!
Seems to be 10,000m alt at 150km out, steep enough descent?
GRIM99 just landed at RAF Mildenhall.
There were 2 others flying ahead of it, one before it also landed at Mildenhall and the one just before that landed at Stansted.
BBC have just stated that the plane carrying Biden landed at Stansted at around 10pm.
Yeah I think 09-0016 landed in Stansted which is what Biden was on. 09-0017 was the other 757
Did Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan plane just do a touch and go at Heathrow just now?
POTUS arrived on a VC-25 (82-8000), which was visible on the ADS-B Exchange tracker. The 757s (C-32s) are support aircraft, as is the E-4.
Why the turn around
..
This question is regularly asked about maintenance-related test flights, which I'd say this was.
This fellow looks like he's drawing something.
Fun and games at Vilnius weather due to fog also, four go arounds.
So any news on what happened with BA4461 this morning?
Just seen this fly over at 550ft. What does this aircraft be doing ? Surveying?
It's a private transport aircraft. Seems to have got around a lot lately.

Well, planefinder.net can be ignored as it’s a joke in my opinion.
There was lots of east-west trans Atlantic traffic overhead this morning but only local DA flights were showing up on this ‘source’.
I guess there’s a reason why it’s free.
Flightradar is (mostly) free and it's far from a joke. So is ADSBexchange.
