That is a good point, the mobilisation is not all shambles. But I think most people understand that even badly trained, and equipped with old weapons, masses of soldiers may do some damage. Those mobilised Russians are a trouble. Can Ukrainians deal with them? Absolutely. Ukraine can mobilise more soldiers, and equip them better with the Western support. Another point is that with HIMARS and the Western intelligence, Russia already have problems with supplying existing armies, adding more (and less effective) soldiers will make the supply issue even more acute.
You would think it would show up on the battlefield on captured kit not radios inside radios and alike.

The Americans said there will be 'catastrophic' consequences for Russia if Putin uses a nuclear device. I doubt they will back down on this - this is not Obama's 'red line'. Far more is at stake.
Not sure how credible is the source (this is a Russian blogger who is anti-russian), but he shows some footage from today of Kazakhstan sending a trainload to Russia with war equipment, mostly military trucks, jeeps, some tanks. If that is truth, like wtf Kazakshtan?!

If Russia carry out a nuclear strike, I'd expect to see a large scale NATO conventional response. Something like the US shock and Awe campaign in Iraq 2003. Id say the Russian Black Sea fleet to be sunk fairly sharpness, the Kalingrad military structures and units to be taken out and Russian positions and bases in occupied Ukraine to be taken out. That would be proportionate. At that point Russia with withdraw from Ukraine with Putin claiming he's doing so to save lives and prevent World Nuclear Armageddon while Russia goes full North Korea.
The hypocrisy of it Biden going on about the Annexation of bits of Ukraine as if it has never happened in American history before, against International Law and so on. Plus America played a major part in creating this situation.
Letting Putin rule the rule in Russia and develop his power based, then ignoring his level of paranoia in breaking the post USSR promises on countries NATO membership.
America just really annoy me all of this they are a major factor in creating this situation over the last 30 years. And America must be delighted as the obvious blame can be heaped on Putin instead. The response from NATO would most likely be conventional,they have enough resources to finish Russia in a week without using nuclear weapons,and Putin knows this too.
I am pretty sure US and European intelligence knows every mobile launcher,silo and launch from Russia and how to take em out out if needed.
Besides the corruption in russia as seen in the russian military probably would have affected the state of their nuclear arsenal
