It's not that simple a recipe. It works in some countries, not in others. Look what happened in Syria or Iran: protestors shot, locked up, tortured, dictators stay in power.
For us in democracies it's so easy to pontificate and tell people living under dictatorships what they should do. None of us know how we would react in the same situation.

Yes, and easy to make and service....I've seen copies of AK-47's being made in small back yard sheds in Pakistan, so you can be sure that other Countrys can make them too, and with rudimentary tools and equipment. And they work very well, ( Russians are not impressed with them though... according to them, Genuine Russian made AK-47 can fire minimum 250'000 rounds, while the copies only 5'000 rounds before the barrels get warped. Can still kill you though.
