Having peaked at 18 earlier this year, the price is now close to 12.
I didn't expect it to fall so much, what is weighing on the price?
Oil costs?
Overall market bearishness
I bought Ryanair at €9.05 back in May 2020. Surely, it's a buy again if below €10.
What’s the difference between the Ryanair Holdings that’s showing $67.11 (USD) on Google and the Ryanair Holdings that’s showing €11 (euro) here https://live.euronext.com/en/product/equities/IE00BYTBXV33-XMSM
RYAAY (USA) is an ADR (American Depositary Receipt) of RY4C (Dublin). 6:1 ratio by the looks of things.
Thanks - Would their share price rise and fall the same way? (Ie 10% rose for both in one day or 10% falls. Nothing different)
Annoys my actually because I used to Google ‘Ryanair share price’ and it was always that lower Euro one and only the last couple of months defaults to the other one now
Ya, they fall and rise together.
Thanks for the advice. Makes sense so!
When I look up the Ryanair stock on T212 it states 'The stock has been limited to close only by the issuer'.
Any idea what this means??
I'm gonna start buying again below 11. They will be in a strong position if/when the recession comes. its a medium term invest though. could be 2-3 years for a significant gain.
Now below 11.
I'm guessing one reason is they have a lot of GBP income and oil costs in USD?
So the weak GBP and strong USD is really hurting them?
But during a recession, won't there be much less travel?
Less travel but more people WHEN travelling will choose budget and the most cost efficient way of going about travel, so Ryanair would thrive on that
Almost a certainty their market share would boom in a recession
Now under 10.50.
Now over 15.00
50% gain in less than six months.
Good quarterly results published today.

Touched 16 today, which seems to be a 12-mth high.
Annual results to be issued on 22-May.
That is for the year end 31-March 2023.
One broker is forecasting a share price of 22:

I wonder will M'OL be able to pull some share buy back stroke in order to artificially pump up the Share price? I sure hope soo, my BEP is €11.80, its been a good investment soo far.
Reached over 16.50 today.
These happen nearly every year, so I would not call them a "stroke".
Good news day for Ryanair shareholders
Dividend program starting in February, with another in September. Going to be yearly dividends from now on.

I posted on another thread, but anyway .......
I see Ryanair will start paying a dividend, 400 million euro next year.
"Ryanair said it would pay a maiden regular dividend of 400 million euros next year and in subsequent years will return approximately 25% of the after-tax profit via an ordinary dividend."
Now with market cap at €19.311B as of today, (share price at €16.95) that's a 2% yield.

Other source;
Ryanair indicated that it would make an initial dividend payment of 200 million euros ($215 million) in February, followed by a final one of 200 million euros in September.

Nice jump in last few weeks from under 15 to well over 16.
Closed at 18 today
Yeah, motoring away nicely 👏
Over 18.50 now.
Touched 19 today.
Will Saint Michael O'Leary get his bonus?

I'll probably keep holding in the hopes that he does. He might orchestrate some kind of share buyback to pump the share price past the €21 mark. 🤞
