Pat already had an interview with Christian Bale this morning, and an interview with the Russian Ambassador coming up.

probably agreed to interview with Pat because he would probably be the most level headed person to interview him !

Has the Russian ambassador slot been dropped? He hasn't mentioned it in a while, even when previewing what's coming up on the show

Ah no - here he is now

I’ve heard the same complaint being made against reggae music.

What I love about Pat, he always does his homework before an interview.

90% of the women on Pats shows always have D4 middle class/American accents no matter what part of Ireland they are from, very odd.

You think the lack of regional accents amongst younger women anymore isn't odd? Men appear to have kept theirs more.

Maybe men give less of a shite about influencer culture and projecting a fashionable public persona?

Very nearly traumatised today when Pat and that 'tree lady' casually declared that only female holly trees can produce berries. I was saved only by my conviction that FFG would get behind funding parades and 'safe spaces' for male holly trees that were exploring their inner selves ;-)

Wow, Pat is on fire this morning! He's like a Rottweiller with both his contributors Eoin O Broin (and another reporter) about Mica redress and concrete block levy! Definitely got out of bed the wrong side but at least he is well able to hold people to account. No softly softly this morning.

Yeah Aoife Moore, it was funny when he said 'do you want me to record it and play it back to you' brilliant! She's been caught out a few times now for 'exclusives' that turn out to be false info.

Did he say what she said, or anything like it? She seemed adamant about it, as much as Pat was about not saying it. I wasn’t paying too much attention but found the reaction from Pat quite funny.

She was the journalist who exposed the golf gate story wasn't she?

I do recall Pat being vocal against the angry mob that formed after that story broke. Probably due to his old mate Sean O Rourke losing a cushy RTE retirement job and some of his judge buddies getting a hard time.

While at the same time he was stoking the angry mob who were blaming cyclists, students in College Court, GAA fans attending the hurling final etc etc for the spread of Covid.

It was a bit of a storm in a teacup really.

She said PK was holding the whole concrete industry responsible for the mica issue and he said he didn't say that.

PK was right he didn't say it and got a bit cross.

She most likely learned that you don't go on PK's show and accuse him of saying something he didn't and get away with it.

Ah yeah, I knew it wasn’t anything outrageous. Was just wondering who was actually right, would have been great if they played it back and he had said it.

Thought she held her own, well enough, during the interview. A lot of others don’t fare so well against Pat, especially in a mood like that.

If he was wrong they would never have played it anyway.

She did ok really but crossing swords with PK was a step too far.

Though I'd say with a bit more experience she will will be able for anyone.
