Imagine the chaos at the line, when guys who are given 2 weeks of training find themselves in a combat zone. You could imagine in the confusion of battle, these guys firing at each other, or at themselves. Or better still, at their superioir officers who are screaming at them to "take that hill" etc...
These lads look like they are on their way to a stag weekend.
Poor ****.
A war crime itself.
Almost as bad as the borders when driving to Greece in the summer.
"What's the point of all this Nazi stuff anyway?"
The thing that the Russians (and their supporters) are most reluctant to do is to dwell upon the truth of what their own leader and soldiers have done. If they did they would have to reflect on and defend:
These are difficult things to accept for most people. Whatever about in Russia, every tankie and useful idiot living in the West knows that the above facts make for an indefensible position. That is why they need to talk about anything else. They do this through deflection, Whataboutery, False equivalency, bad faith arguments.
It's all they have at the end of the day.
And on and on and on.....
It's unending and that's the point really. It's basically that classic tactic of Steve Bannon's of "Flooding the zone with s**t". They try and demoralise and confuse people with this unending stream of garbage. People can expend their energy challenging these points one by one but it's basically a waste of time. More to the point it's time and energy not being used to discuss the things that they really don't want to discuss. If people point out the deplorable actions of their side then they try and knock the accuser off of their moral high ground with one of their old classics.
That, is the point of all the Nazi stuff.
I get her point. However if you were Russian and against the war and don’t want to be conscripted you have limited options.
Protest and possibly face 15 20 years in prison, probably get a good hiding as well and possibly be sent to the war regardless.
Go ahead with it and end up in a conflict against your will.
Inflict serious harm upon yourself to get out of it
Or just flee the country.
The last option is the easiest and safest one so they can’t be blamed for taking it. I don’t necessarily agree that they are to blame just because they’re not brave to overthrown him, an uprising needs to start somewhere but lots are scared to do anything especially when the numbers protesting are so low. You only get one life, the majority of people won’t want to throw away 15 to 20 years of their life for what many would currently see as an unwinnable objective, toppling the midget. And no one truly knows what they would do until faced with that situation. It’s a sad reality but years of the evil midget disposing of people who get in his way will scare the populace to go against him.
True, and this is only disinformation from russian sources, because at the end of the day,its all comes down to this
Looks like women in Iran are braver than Russian men then,or is it just me?
I wouldn’t disagree
Medvedev is a particularly nasty piece of work.
Rumours of 1.2 million man mobilisation.
I dont care how sh1t the equipment is. That's a lot of manpower to have to try take out or remove.
We all know a tiny few Neo Nazis where operating in Ukraine, like most countries.
1% of the Azov regiment which has about 2,000 members.
Pathetic justification for invading a country.
Absolutely pathetic.
There must have pinned the wrong GeniChesky ?
Their HIMARS doesn't have that kind of range, and I also don't think they'd risk a HIMARS so close to the front line
Mobilization and military training in Russia is very hard, you only need two braincells to qualify
One thing that I have observed both from these videos and those of captured Russian soldiers is how unhealthy these men all seem to look. Average life expectancy in Russia for men is a shocking 66.5 years and, to be honest, you can see the early deterioration in these men.
If they were against the war they had 7 months to flee. They are only fleeing now for fear of being conscripted. There's been plenty of headlines saying they are antiwar protests etc... That's incorrect, they are anti conscription protests.
If enough go out then nothing happens, just look at Iran. The problem is none are willing to go. 140million people and they can't get 100k on the streets. Completely failed society
The Ronan Keating song alone should be enough to get you thrown out.
That's pretty fcuked up if true.
Hard to believe this crap is happening in 2022.
It looks as if these things are being launched into the next field. Way to go
The "protests" the other day where pathetic. Like i said at the time i'd seen more people at a black Friday sale.
They can change trajectory after launch though?
I missed the reports of Russian commanders getting theie due. Add to that, 6 senior lieutenants, 2 lieutenants and a Wagner mercenary officer.
The Ukrainians downed 6 kamikaze drones and an SU-25. Unfortunately at least one drone got through and destroyed the main admin building for the port of Odessa.
True but my point is that's a lot of extra enemy manpower that will have to be dealt with and use up precious resources and ammo. It can be steamroller but could be a Canon fodder distraction for the main army.
It takes a hell of a lot of time and experience to train and equip an army of 1 million, they won't have 1million troops in Ukraine and even if they get a few hundred thousand in a years time, that number of men concentrated in confined spaces of trenchs are just going to get minced .
It is messed up indeed, I really hope it deescalates soon.
At that trajectory they are heading long range ,if they were heading to the next field they would have a pretty flats trajectory
2 Shahed-136 drones destroyed a building in Odesa, killing 1 person. One drone was shot down by air defense over the sea
Dog fight!
Some high scored being rung up in this thread. 😁
But whats the "Your Dogs Make Us Look Stupid" about?
Hit a petrol station , lucky enough it was pretty much empty at the time
