Who also have a tendency to win wars. One major reason is because autocrats fear the army above all state arms. They're the ones that have the hard power to take them down and out(many such leaders come from the army in military coups in the first place). So to mitigate that they tend to promote people within in their armed forces they know are loyal, regardless of their skills or effectiveness, or promote the ineffectual who will never be a threat. Autocrats also like to direct and micromanage the prosecution of wars personally. Again a bad plan. These are all near givens throughout world history.

Yes a number of lawmakers have said it could invoke Article 5, the truth is no one is certain and NATO themselves have not made such an assertion other than fallout could change the dynamics of the war - perhaps a cryptic way of them saying Article 5 could be triggered.
It's not certain if NATO would collectively trigger Article 5 even if some states can justify it's lawful within the meaning of Article 5, we simply don't know.
It isn't, because having a few neo-nazi action men marching around waving flags isn't a legitimate or proportional reason to invade an entire country, attempt to annex its territory, and threaten nuclear war when they have the audacity to resist. And everyone knows that. It's merely deflection.

Also, this is not a simple bilateral dispute between Russia and Ukraine. The Russian dictatorship hates all its neighbours including Poland, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Georgia and Kazakhstan and has bad relationships with all of them.
