RT got banned off our Sat, it's harder to access now.
I don't need to flee to Russia, unlike some of our truth tellers who exposed western hypocrisy, like Edward Snowden who ended up there
Awwwe people can't access rt ,
Someone call Joe
Some of the team are working from Latvia now and started producing content on YouTube last month.
Never watched RT but i can imagine it was a lot like Fox or CNN in terms of bias?
Germany saying at least some deserters are welcome, Estonia saying they're not, for example. There are already dozens of posts about this
He nearly ended up in the Guantanamo Bay torture camp of the freedom loving west.
The burial site was already discussed in depth
It is the fundamental right of a nation to defend itself if attacked. Ukraine is exercising that right. It's about that simple, really. And this is even truer when the invasion has no real pretext.
The idea of prolonging the war and creating more suffering is another good one because it ignores the suffering that would ensue were Russia allowed to just overrun Ukraine, given what's been happening in occupied areas with torture, executions and deportations of children. In light of that, it's no wonder that Ukraine is fighting as it is.
Here's a fact for you: Russia can go home tomorrow and the war ends. Nobody will be chasing them back to Moscow, although stronger border defences will possibly be erected.
Something very interesting is happening here. Kaliningrad is known to have upgraded and increased its nuclear ballistic missile facilities and is now hosting a flight of Mig-31's, among others. The Migs carry the Kinzhal nuclear-tipped hypersonic missile.
In my opinion, if a tactical nuke was to be deployed by Russia, this is how it would be done. Hence the massively increased surveillance of Kaliningrad currently underway. Please see below:
This doesn't really make sense. If Russia is to use a tactical nuke against Ukraine why on earth would they want the missile/plane traversing Western countries? While I suspect the response is guaranteed no matter what, this would merely serve to make that even more likely. Not to mention the possibility of it being destroyed over Western territories. It would be launched from Russia.
Thanks, you lot. Looks like they have relocated to Riga and are broadcasting again.
Ps: I can get RT on my fire stick
I don't think anyone with a shred of credibility considers this war anything else than Russia's fault and its mostly down to one old Russian mans desire to write himself a significant chapter in Russian history before he dies.
The thing with Peterson is that his fan base is mostly young males who identify with the right much more so then the left. To keep his audience happy he needs to thread a fine line. I have no doubt he finds this war as upsetting as anyone else but in the video clip he didn't denounce Putin instead said we are more like him than we think and it would be foolish to think he will lose. He's just being vague enough to keep his predominately right leaning fanbase happy. Its like when he won't directly answer the question on whether or not he really believes in god, he talks in circles around it rather than give a direct answer, he usually defaults to "that's not a question that can be easily answered" and the importance of religious mythology in the modern world.
Having said that I still enjoy listening to him speak, I just accept that he won't directly answer some questions with a simple answer as he might lose some followers if he did. Peterson is a guy who's been in many controversial conversations and has been denounced by many but those interviews get huge amounts of clicks. He's always on the verge of being cancelled by the woke far left and he knows it.
Another of Putin's ex EU leader buddies defending him:
He, Schröder und Orban are an absolute disgrace and Italians are a disgrace that this corrupt sleazeball still has many supporters in their country
Kasparov
More suffering all round? Statement made without foundation. Premise rejected.
And invading countries are rarely prepared to suffer until the bitter end. They can always pack up and go home. The home country has no choice but to fight on. That's what happened in Vietnam and Afghanistan.
That changes if Putin attacks NATO in any way.
I know - he won't - but I was commenting on his threat.
Anyway, the West wouldn't need to risk a single person or plane to retaliate against Russia.
Ukrainian forces targeting civilians
No actual evidence of Ukraine targeting civilians there.
We don't know who fired the shells and at what. This could easily be a false flag from Russia.
Like the nuclear power plant that Russia is both occupying and destroying at the same time. False flag for what? They have already gone with full mobilization. Ukrainian forces have been bombing these areas since 2014
Is that the nuclear plant where the laws of physics are suspended and shells fired from the Ukrainians do a full 180 degree turn mid flight and turn around to strike the nuclear plant from the direction of the Russian artillery?
Protest in Snihurivka against illegal referendum
straight out of a bad actors playbook, forced democracy
No it's where the Ukrainians shell Russian positions at the power plant.
For the other poster, here's a snippet from an Amnesty International report around 2014
The discovery of mass graves in the Donetsk region
On 23 September Russian media reported the discovery of mass graves in Komunar and Nyzhnya Krynka, two adjacent villages in the Donetsk Region, which until two days previously had been held by Kiev-controlled forces. They described the discovery of women’s bodies with signs of torture and the body of a pregnant woman. Russia’s Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, was reported later as saying that more than 400 bodies had been discovered in the graves in this area and calling for international investigations.
An Amnesty delegation visited the area on 26 September and found strong evidence implicating Kiev-controlled forces in the extrajudicial executions of four men buried in two graves near the village of Komunar.
Five further bodies buried in a single grave nearby were revealed to belong to separatist fighters.
Atrocities had been happening with both sides at the time according to Amnesty
No they're not. Learn to read. Or what part of fleeing mobilisation don't you understand?:
“People who oppose Putin, they have real power, and that’s the reason of Putin’s repressions on us,” she said. “We’re building (an) alternative Russia with values that are different from Putin’s values. We want to be part of the Western civilization.” Nadya Tolokonnikova
The younger generation do seem to be slowly standing against Putin. They may be small groups and numbers but change has to start somewhere.
Current protests might drop away as most of them [young people] are busy getting out of Russia.
The more defeats inflicted upon him, the more his military commanders will lose confidence in him – to the extent they have not already. This would be the best outcome – a change of regime from within, not by the hand of the West or even its policies. And it is not beyond reach. This war will bring down Putin.
Peterson is just an empty vessel who'll say whatever is necessary to maximise his audience (or for clicks as you say). He's not imparting some knowledge that he has some expertise in. He's just saying what he needs to to keep those clicks coming, regardless of whether what he is saying is accurate or not. He doesn't actually have anything useful to add to the discussion. He's little more than the fleshbag equivalent of a click-maximising AI.
Run along there Ted
Your going to trigger some with that link
They had a lot of infotainment but some solid programs and documentaries as well. It actually did something worse than Russian propaganda, it told the truth about a lot of western problems. It was the only pro Julian Assange channel, it had great programs like Chris Hedges On contact, check him out on Youtube, Going Underground was another decent program. It never covered Russian news in any depth
Keep at out by any means necessary
"Keep at out": I see you're still on the sauce this morning
One article is about fleeing mobilisation, the other is about deserters. 1 being civilians avoiding the mobilisation, aka draft dodgers.
The other article is about deserters, as in soldiers deserting the army.
2 entirely different groups of people.
I believe that's untrue as observed by the international team sent there to report. I also believe you know that is untrue and yet you still deliberately choose to repeat it.
