As repulsive as the Russian invasion is, I do feel a certain sympathy for these people too. A lot of them are probably totally indifferent to the war and just trying to get by from day to day. It's the sons of the Duma people and the cheerleaders in state media who should be sent there first. Instead it's always the poor and educated who are sent to die.
As for reports that known opponents of the war, people who were arrested for protesting back in spring, are being called up - that's sheer sadism
Seems a lot less protesting yesterday than there was at the start of the war which is depressing. Also looks like it's completely fizzling out today. Doesn't seem like Russians are as opposed to the mobilisation as i would have hoped 😥

I doubt it that they are incinerators or that the truck exhaust is routed through the cabin. There's far more effective ways of killing than using the exhaust gases', and the last incinerators which we saw back in Feb, were cylindrical, like fuel tankers. No I'd say that they are medical all right. The widows have blinds, to stop the light showing when they are working at night, and can be opened in daylight.

There are many reports of POWs being routinely castrated. Russians recently returned 100 POWs (not the most recent ones) and apparently they were all castrated. There are also stories of POWs committing suicide because of castration. Don't bother researching it, it is depressing.
Russians interchange lies and truth according to the objectives they want. Likewise with rationality and irrationality - they are interchangeable. But when it comes to their own crises, they will get rational real quick.
Surrendering and leaving their Family's behind, might not necessarily mean forever, but for sure what ever chance they'll have of being reunited at some stage, it will still be a better chance than the Ukraine meat grinder.

Certainly a lot more seem to be fleeing than protesting (despite a certain poster here predicting that it was the start of mass protests). Kind of makes sense: you flee and you can try start over somewhere else and maybe return when Putin's gone. Protest and you'll be imprisoned or forced to fight anyway. I know which option I'd probably take....
Heard a segment of Zelenskyy's speech to the UN on RTE radio where he mentioned it was emerging as a pattern in what they have found in mass burial sites in areas where the russians have taken Ukraine territory and I remember reports of a case being sent out on video on social media a while back. He raised the question that the world needs to ask what has been happening to the russian troops to make them want to do this to other people. It is clear that russia has no morals about allowing psychologically deranged people fight in its army at the same time as being happy to allow one of them work as leader of the country.
