Russia doesn't fund these people, you can't buy that help, that's ideological.
Obviously if they sell tickets for a fundraising raffle, the embassy on the Orwell Rd will be a good place to start.
I think your general Ukrainian would be better than that. Well I hope, unless is some Drunken Russians starting it.
Many anecdotal reports of Russian men supposedly not covered by the draft being called up (even men in their 50s and 60s). Apparently, Russian lawyers say they have been contacted by large numbers of people today trying to ascertain their rights. Looks like Putin lied in his speech yesterday.
Sigh
or respected Irish neutrality at a precarious time for a nation that hadn't yet been declared fully independent
The Russian Black and tans
We wer hardly go charging to the defence of Britain while they they had six counties and not long out of a war of independence with the burning of Cork City and a vicious civil war.
We didn't like the Brits or the Germans. Best thing was to keep out and let people sign up to Allied forces if they wished.
But that's a thread for another day.
Once the Germans had finished with the UK were would neutrality help Ireland. Hitler loved walking into Neutral countries. Irish men in their thousands understood the UK was a bulwark for Ireland if it fell Ireland fell. Simple as that Pretty sure Even Republicans signed up. Off topic.
Might not be an instant thing. I just don’t think it will be sunshine and lollipops when the war has ended and community’s have formed around Europe.
@Strazdas

I don't think Putin cares much right now about what his citizens' rights are, so trying to ascertain them seems like wasted effort.
Why not? The showers and bathrooms in his palaces and dacha's are rumored to be Olympic sized.... Nothing but the biggest and best for Vlada.
a's
That decree - which he seems to have lied about - has secret clauses which allow him to call up just about anyone for military service. Looks like it's a full mobilisation disguised by the shyster regime as a 'partial' one.
hahaha Rights and Russia
That makes me laugh
Drunk lambs off to the slaughter
Apologies if it's been posted earlier
Looks like the Russians are expecting high WIA from pushing the mobilised into battle early.
Why call up so many I wonder, not Asif they can train and equip so many.
That said the human wave of poorly armed soldiers has long been a staple and often successful tactic of Communist forces.
Even and old fella taking a piss when the camera pans. 😮
The 'partial mobilisation' phrase was clearly just a PR thing, an outright lie. He has decided to mobilise, but being a liar and fearing a public backlash, he announces it is only a partial one and has instructed his minions in the press to describe it as such.
Obviously it won’t happen, but if the Kremlin said there was a no vote in Donbas they’d have a way out. Sure, there’s be a degree of humiliation, but no more humiliating than what’s happening already.
This is the far side of desperation.
It's pretty evident those poor bástards are not fighters, they are been forced into buses and planes to "police" the newly stolen part of Russia which will be declared in the next few days.
Ukraine will keep advancing, Putin will make his most forcible threat of nuclear attack yet hoping the West will pressure Ukraine to concede 15-20% of their country in order for him to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
It's going to be an extremely interesting few weeks.
Are we sure they are not incinerators the windows are all blacked out. Not sure if the exhaust system on the actual cabin on the back is from the Engine of the truck.
And leave their families behind forever
"Inspirational leadership of Vladimir Putin" - Boris Johnson
One woman in a village in the Zakamensky region of Buryatia, eastern Siberia, said she first felt something was amiss when the dogs began barking at about midnight.
In a community of 450 people, the village head was walking from house to house, seeking to hand out more than 20 draft notices. As men gathered before departing the next morning, she said, some drank vodka, while others hugged and told each other to stay safe. Women cried and made the sign of the cross over the small minibus that carried them away.
“It’s not a partial mobilisation, it’s a 100% mobilisation,” said Alexandra Garmazhapova, the president of the Free Buryatia Foundation, an activist group that has reported on the draft in the region. In the past day, she said, she and her colleagues had received and identified more than 3,000 reports of povestka, or draft papers, being delivered in Buryatia within just 24 hours
That is beyond eerie.
You must have a very short memory miss/ Mrs/Mr barrett. For example :-
(1) have you forgot to that a big beech tree started from one acorn
(2) remember a MR BEN Dunne - was it in Orlando- was spotted by a passer by on the street below apparently behaving ‘in an unusual and dangerous way on a 3rd floor balcony from his hotel room - or something along those lines. That particular event was the start of a WHOLE series of costly enquiries and tribunals
(3) you remember the student in Tunisia, I think , who was looking for a trading licence to sell something to make some pocket money. He got so frustrated after being refused a number of times that he set fire to himself and passed away. That event sparked an outburst of public protest. I think that that event spread like wildfire to at least a number of Arab countries including Egypt, lybia , Syria.
So hold tight Ms, Mrs, Mr Barrett and keep your powder dry as you will never know how things might take off
I just mean that it’s not exactly an easy decision either
I reckon what's going to happen in the next 6 months is a more expansive war throughout Ukraine. All civilian utilities will be destroyed. Far more refugees will flee. Europe will find it hard to cope with the energy crisis and the influx of extra refugees. More governments will fall throughout the EU.
Interesting thread. Especially the T-34 on a train. 😂.
Too many doomsday docs
I think the nuke threat is over used now. As for the poor old drunks people of colour seem to be the backbone of his army now. Sad affaire to be true. Worst part is you could get a beating in moscow for not being a white russian. I genuinely feel sorry for the lads being marched on the busses I would be drunk too.
