Might explain why they need nuclear landmines that were 5000 times more powerful than traditional landmines,
Why maim one soldier when you can maim and kill hundreds.
None of which has anything to do with the current situation in Ukraine
Meanwhile outside of the dail
One of those welding robots used for operating on deep sea pipelines would do the job too
nuclear mines is an absurd premise
Belarus acceded to the nuclear non-proliferation treaty (NPT) in 1993.
In February of this year, Belarus abandoned the NPT at the behest of their masters Russia.
You can't talk about the importance of keeping to global agreements without first recognising that it's Russia that keep breaking them first.
Ukraine should let all these new russian soldiers know that they can come fight for them, and be treated 100 times better, I bet most would take that offer up. They should really push for them to surrender and live, rather than to fight and die for Putin.
I’ve been to Hiroshima - and the museum there. Believe me the loss of life, the suffering and horrible deaths thousands of people went through, the after effects the nuclear bomb had on the city and area will stay with you for life. No one can take a chance on nuclear bombs. They are catastrophic.
It's interesting how a comment of mine, written partly in jest ( as those who know me here, I know a thing about all things military), on nuclear sea mines ( yes, they are a thing) back in March sometime, has grown legs to such extent, that it's melting the poor brains of many, on this insignificant, purely hypothetical, message board thread.
Let it be a lesson to you all!
1. Don't dismiss something purely because it sounds too fantastical to be true
2. Don't believe everything you read because it sounds too fantastical to be false!
3. Hi Weisses ;)
Therefore so should everyone else?
The fewer countries with nuclear weapons, the unequivocally better it is.
Rich Russians will leg it to the South Americas, middle-class Russians will go to Turkey and maybe Egypt the poor ol ones can hop on their bikes and pedal as fast as they can to... North Korea, if they can get passed those pesky boarder guards that is.
Has anyone seen my diplomatic passport?
Need a holiday
A protest in Moscow city centre against Putin this evening :
I'd go with him to give him a dig out only for the oul' bone spurs meself
Only 1 man can stop Putin. Victor Blackley, aka Blackbird. Forgive me father I am about to sin again.
In 1945, there was exactly one country with functional, deployable nuclear weapons - which by your estimation would be a better situation than today.
However, that was also the only year that nuclear weapons were ever deployed in anger.
That's not a coincidence.
They'd never suspect him
Nice in theory but the first thing your need in the military is loyalty, I don't know about depending on defectors in a large scale way.

Yes, I think the US being the only country with nuclear weapons would probably be better than the current situation. However, I can appreciate an argument for the benefits of a couple world powers all having them having a stabilising effect.
Starting to hand out nuclear weapons to your allies as and when it suits you is just a recipe for total world proliferation and nuclear weapons being used in anger through malice or incompetence.
Maybe they are celebrating winning their free holidays to Ukraine,
Or don't they know according to people on boards they are breaking russian laws
It would be most embarrassing for Putin to see these 300k soldiers deflect, they all want to, that is clear. Should push for it
I genuinely thought nobody would turn up.
But the anti war movement have a good turn out. A good crowd.
Hopefully it morphs across Russia.
Now it could be some concert. But it's the allotted time for the protest and there's army and police there so it's a good chance that's a government building and that's the protest.
Shame they didn’t bother protesting the massacre of Ukrainians since February. But I suppose its a start
Are you sure they are a thing? I know nuclear mines were, but sea mines have never gone into production and even the land mines were detonated by remote. All according to Google of course.
Better than Nuclear Mimes I suppose.
Such a weak response. How many people are there? 100-200?
There is nothing close to a popular revolt against mobilization in Russia from what I can see.
When you've been brainwashed, beaten and anyone who stood up have been poisened, shot, fallen out of windows, it would take time to build resistance.
Probably more people protesting than signed up to go to Ukraine today 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Let's be real for a minute.
That takes balls of steel to protest in Moscow at the best of times.
Respect to them, as they are about to be forcefully relocated to Ukraine.
This wins
Not everyone is happy Russia didn't get to Kiev 210 days after a 72hr special operation to take the whole of Ukraine
