Google trending query " How to leave the Country" at the moment in Russia as we all wait for this delayed address....
"Russian Internet reacts to a possible speech by #Putin with an explosive increase in Google queries "how to leave Russia" and "deferment from the army", according to google trends.
Google telling us what some Russians are thinking. Run!"

Russia can still prolong this war by eating into it's reserves. But leaves them little in reserve for any other conflicts, or simply to square up to NATO.
RT have deleted their tweet he would address the nation at 8pm Moscow time and now Chairman of the Duma is saying there will be no general mobilisation, i can only imagine what kind of madhouse the kremlin is tonight
He's probably doing Hitler's trick; delaying to increase the tension.
Putin has still not spoken, but Andrey Kartapolov, the chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee, has declared this:
"There will be no general mobilization, but martial law may be imposed in some places.
Their military is destroyed. They won’t be squaring up to anyone for a few decades.
Absolute shambles, just like the Russian army.
Population of Zaporozhia Oblast (partially occupied): 1,700,000
Population of Zaporozhia City (not occupied ): 700,000
Actual % of Zaporozhia city to Zaporozhia Oblast, which is in itself far from totally occupied: 41%
Expected % of oblast population to join russia after the referendum: 90%
Aye.
Putin being held back like a drunk outside a pub trying to fight everyone
If Russia wants to nuke the Ukrainian offensive, then they're also going to be nuking the territory they actually hold and want to keep. It's more likely they'd look to hit static targets with missile's, like cities - or power plants. Their best bet, if one could call it that, would be to target Kyiv in an attempt to kill Zelensky and decapitate the government.
Their only other viable option that I can see is to deploy their elite units (if they have any?) with a unified C&C and try a vicious counterattack. Russians aren't subtle in their tactics - they're brutish. The problem is, is just how "elite" are their elite forces, given what we now know about substandard equipment and a creaky logistics system?
It looks like the "threat" of the Russian army is less than the reality of it. Using massed armed forces as a diplomatic sledgehammer to intimidate opponents and force a favourable deal is the best use for the Russian military - bolstered by large scale attacks against weak nations that yield seemingly quick and easy victories.
If Putin throws more assets into the grinder and they fare no better then his options will shrink even more.
More like 120%
Interesting times as they say.

Escaping Russia
Russian channels suggesting that Putin's announcement will come tomorrow.
Where's Garth Brooks when we need him
Very unusual indeed.
All OSINT eyes are now on the Kremlin...
The plot thickens....
Definitely something is happening behind the scenes, this is very strange and new territory
Sounds like someone said no to Putin.
I'm tempted to stay up to keep an eye on the OSINT channels. Should be an interesting and speculative night...
Might be waiting to see what happens in Iran.
They are currently attacking Khomanei's gaff.
Back to the real stuff
Nabiulina has reportedly resigned....
Straight from Moscow. Putin has spoken and has said that parts of the south and east of Ukraine are begging to be annexed. Not seeing it anywhere else, but contacts in Moscow have apparently.
This...
A good point. This may be the straw that broke the Kremlins back and the Kremlin may have said " Enough now".
Rumours are abound on twitter that Putin may be dead.
Also, Markov is now describing himself as " a former adviser".
Oh great another "Putin is dead cause twitter said so" claim.
You'd think people would learn.
Most of that sounds like complete rubbish, to be honest.
