I got the reg for mine at about 12:45 shortly after I replied to a text from Tesla reminding me about the collection tomorrow (as if I was going to forget!!??).
Of course it’s not. It takes a few days. Same for any other car being registered in the state and posted 100’s of times in this thread alone.
Now less grumpy and enjoy the collection
You won't miss it. The place filled with lovely Teslas 😀

collected my car in the 9th. Went to a wedding that evening(one of those 2 day ones) then went on holidays on the 11th. Back tomorrow. Have only driven the car twice. (Collection to straffan, then straffan to Shannon)
it feels like I am picking up a new car again when I get back.

Congratulations! Did you ring through the normal number that puts you through the UK help desk or is there a local number? Due to collect Friday and no sign of a reg number yet.

I'm definitely gonna sign up but thought maybe the trial was limited in some way. But I guess the time looking at the cameras is limited anyway. Thanks for the info.
@Core6 & @s8n any update on the reg? I called today and basically got the same fluff as yesterday -> You should have got it already and we don't know why!? At least they didn't tell me its because of the Queen's funeral again...

In my opinion it is definitely worth it ..the enhanced display on maps, spotify (using Tesla Account) if you don't have your own spotify subscription) and live camera access (although this may be limited, how much do you want ti use it once you get over novelty?). Without premium connectivity you cant access that functionality at all!

You only get a very limited daily amount of time when viewing live cameras. Something like 15 mins per day, it's stated somewhere but cannot remember where. It's the same when on payed premium or on the free trial.
I am paying the premium now, think it's worth the 9.99/month.
Hey with the free premium trial is it very limited data? Put on sentry mode there yesterday and checked the cameras a couple of times. Then it stopped working due to data allowance reached. Are you better off just getting premium straight away?
This is what I do too. Plugshare to find, then use plugshare to open google maps and send to car. the only useful feature of finding it in the car is the preheating feature.
Tesla chargers are accurate, Ionity as well. Some ESB ones are on the map some not. Personally I use plugshare to find chargers check if they actually work, then use share location to Tesla app which sends it to the car. Plugshare is the most up to date as it is community driven, has pictures of the chargers uploaded by users so it helps identifying them in a large carpark. Users can comment on the chargers state so a quick glance would prevent you driving to a dud.
They are from what I can see over the last 2 days. I stopped off at IONITY in Kill to top up as I won’t have a home charger until Friday, worked no problem but was slow only 48-49KW but the SoC was 45% at pickup and the IONITY chargers were only about 7-8 minutes away so no time to heat up, depending on your direction of travel it may be worth going for a slightly further away charger
Yeah for the Model 3 it was a small group of around 5-6 of us (literally the day before Covid was stalking the streets)
We watched a short video on how to access the app etc , then we had an hour with the car to inspect before popping back in to sign something.
Will have the climb a razorwire fence to get the new one ;)
Are the on-screen maps reliable? I'll be looking for directions to the nearest charging station after collection.

I'm in the same boat, its poor from Tesla to be honest. Very different experience for my Y vs my 3 back in 2019

I'm still waiting on my reg, and the poxy insurance company want the new reg for quote/transfer despite me giving them VIN and explanation of the Model etc...sigh.
I called Tesla but the lady said due to the Bank Holiday (??!!?? It's a UK team that process this?) they might be delayed, not much time left now.
I found an excellent tutorial on youtube to calibrate your lights properly. You just need to go into a car park with a measuring tape and some electrical tape. You adjust and save in app. I did mine as I noticed people were flashing me because after an update my lights obviously got out of whack, and were too high. U will likely have to go to the service centre for alignment, id do myself if u can. Just google it.
its seems that Ireland did very well from a delivery perspective this quarter, do we think there might be no Q4 for Ireland this year or would you expect that to materialise as time passes as it seems the UK also a RHD market has alot of people scheduled for Q4 deliveries, not too much of a stretch to send a few to Zeebrugge
I ordered in mid august, EDD was march 23, I collected on 9th sept.
Congratulations on the order. I'd say chances are high enough
EDD's have been know to change (in and out) so all should respect E=Estimated. What we can say is that production capacity of Model 3 has been significantly boosted since upgrading the production line in August and capcityis now 1000 to 1200 units per day (see link below).
I ordered Model 3 in mid June '22 at the time delivery was quoted as Jan - MArch 23.... I received my car on September 16th.
Long answer to say...yes there is a chance
