Trying to open a packet of sweets or cereal that are in one of those bags that are made of that stiff plastic. When I want to tear only a corner off, the bag rips all the way to the bottom, spilling the contents out!!

^ reminds me of another TA

.when buying a Stanley knife..or as the yanks call it a box cutter, they're almost always packed in a heavy non tearable plastic package..

If I only had a knife, I could end this paradox as I chew through it

Try squeezing the packet. Saw a lad doing it online. Haven’t had the chance to try it, myself, but it worked in the demo yer man did.

Because my parcel hasn't turned up I'm like a briar so I'll be ta'd even if someone breaths near me today. 😂

What's ta'ing me now is the people at the queen's funeral recording it on their phones.

It's on TV in HD you Muppets.

I got a new debit card a couple of days ago but for some reason won't work contactless. Rang support who confirmed it was activated properly and no reason why it shouldn't work etc etc.

Pleasant and helpful as possible but I have to wait 5 to 7 days for a new one to try. A TA having to use the PIN all the time.

    Men who do this:

You don't actually need to fix the cuffs of your shirt/your cufflinks. It's as annoying as the "finger-bridge" some "businessmen" do.

At least you know where yours are. Its as if mine are being sent to /dev/null

I have another one that left Dublin Mail centre in January. This is not reassuring at all.

Waiting on calls, even worse when the call never happens. Stayed indoors all Thursday to be sure, was due a call on landline between 2 and 5 from Consultant ref results of scan and nothing. Still heard sweet F.A. from them. The last time was due a call between 2 and 4 they called at 1pm when I was about 5 mins from home hence the reason for being in all day. Said they would call back at 2pm and they called 10 mins early. Can't f*cking win.

That I’m pretty sure I need glasses. Eyesight has gone to pot lately. General eyesight isn’t top and I can’t read books I’ve been gathering. So off to Spessavers I go.

((HUGS)) I only use An Post as the other couriers seem to not check destinations before setting off,, INISH INISH INISH... They get to Achill then realise OOPS! WATER! And drop the parcel off with whoever they can... and claim delivery has been made. An Post now have couriers... I get delivery of big parcels the day after they leave Dublin. So unless firms will use An Post? No deal.

Thinking I've brought a piece of black moss indoors on my shoe only to bend down and pick it up to find it's a nugget of Sh!t that fell off my cat's bum that came inside with her.

I've a considerably more unfortunate story.

I was visiting my sister many years ago. She had a cat. Cat liked to climb on top of people on the sofa. Cats domain, cats rule. I was offered a magnum ice cream which I proceeded to wolf down. Often as it happens there are bits of chocolate that might break off and land on one's lap. So after a few minutes I see this bit of melted chocolate on my lap which I pick off an eat. While it's in my mouth I find its distinctly different taste to the rest of the chocolate, bit gritty. Then the cold realisation hit me. It was cat **** off the cats furry arse.

I don't know if anyone has seen the Ace Ventura, Einhorn is a Man scene. That was me. I still get flashbacks 16 years later

Worst I had with Fastway before I moved offshore was a young driver I had guided in on the phone but who never arrived. A day later a very embarrassed farmer came to the house asking if i was missing two parcels.. The lad had dumped them in a field of cattle...,,

I whacked my baby toe off the corner of the bed on Sunday afternoon. I heard a loud crack and I had searing pain in which I wanted to curl up and cry. I was pretty convinced I broke it (again...I broke it back in 2008 whacking it off the corner of a box when running to take a phone call) Luckily no bruise formed and it felt fine yesterday. Today however there's a big bruise and it's sore again.

Also I collected my Jack Russell from the dog boarding kennel on Sunday and I noticed that he was considerably thinner than when I left him in there a week ago before going off on holiday. I think they just give the dogs the bare minimum of food in those places.

And lastly, there's a huge tarantula-esque spider living in my brown compost bin, and my PS4 controller has developed the dreaded right stick drift which means my game camera keeps drifting off to the left. Very irritating when playing games like Elden Ring and Bloodborne. I'm completely broke until Thursday so I can't buy a new controller until then - and they're bloody expensive at €60 a pop :(
