I dont know what kind of military is in Crimea, but wouldn't be surprised if Ukraine decide to take it back way before the rest of the east, this way cutting the supply lines through the Kerch bridge.
Has the even been an instance on boards of someone admitting they got something wrong? Rather than doubling down on the claim and trying to support their original position with something unrelated to the original claim.
You do know @SlowBlowin that you will suffer no consequences if you admit that you got in wrong and white crosses on a military vehicle are not Nazi symbols.
Here is a picture of a modern German Tank. I am sure if people though the insignia was a Nazi symbol there would be a kerfuffle, but there isn't, because it isn't.
You're right, not ni@@ers, negry, but tell this to black people, we'll see their reaction. A famous footballer Cavani once poster 'negrito' on his Twitter, was sanctioned by FA for racism
Probably alright. Just if they leave it too long if they were Taiwan will be called fortress Taiwan and would probably be 10 times as hard as if they invaded say now.
Yes, until this war is over and civilians stop dying and russia is crushed back into their place I will consider it a non issue.
What I mean is that I have no problem with nazism in Ukraine IF it is against Russian aggression, as it was in the beginning. But I am against historical nazism such as German nazism. Ukrainian nazism and German nazism are not exactly the same thing. None of this means I support crimes of any kind by any group.
Was he sanction for what he said or did they sanction him out of fear of the mob at the time ...
Which has feck all to do with this thread
Seems that they are aiming for a 2027 invasion according to new reports
On this, and looking at recent movements of the Kilo-class submarines, I believe this to be the case. I think the Russians do not consider the ports in Sevastapol to be a safe haven any longer. Russian subs have been re-arming with cruise missiles at Sevastapol, but have now moved to the ports at Novorossiya.
Once the port facilities at Sevastapol come in range of Ukranian artillery, I predict this will be a pertinent target.
There are many Naval assets still moored at Sevastapol, but I believe that they will be moved out of there in the coming week or so. Watch out for this. The retreat of the Black Sea fleet from Sevastapol will be a clear indication of the desperation of the Russian forces.
If that is true I can only imagine what amount of hardware will be supplied to Taiwan by that time. 10s of billions. I would shave 2 Years off that time line for a Chinese invasion so. Let them think 2 years further off but then invade. But here is hoping they don't but I think sadly it will happen at some point.
Lol yep
Hopefully they heed Bidens warnings America and American forces will defend Taiwan if they come under Chinese attack,
Ukrainian aviation conducted 21 air strikes yesterday against 16 areas of Russian forces rally, bases and 5 air defense units. Ukrainian artillery and missile forces conducted strikes at over 14 Russian military objects , - General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine says in the morning report
When he does go I'll be getting a flight to Moscow just so I can accidentally fall and knock his box over Just to make sure it's not empty while wearing matching St javelin socks and tshirts
I think it's a very likely objective, if they can retake Kherson region first. Think of the propaganda potential. There's been certain key moments in this war that have sent a strong message back to Russia starting with the initial defence & defeat of Russian forces at Kyiv, then the sinking of the Moskva. Followed by the recent counter offensive in Kharkiv. Taking Crimea and/or putting it under extreme pressure would be another big blow to the Russian agenda.
If I were Taiwan, I'd be wanting weapons primarily. Promises change with administrations.
4 Russian jets downed in 10 days. It really does look like the Russians are being forced into taking more risks with their combat aviation.
It's been US policy for decades that won't change with administrations
Still wouldn't rely on it with as odd as the US is gone politically
The US made promises to the Ukranians once upon a time...
I heard it said as well that since they have moved many of them out of Crimea they are having to take longer flights. This increases the maintenance requirements and that could lead to problems as a result of sanctions on parts.
Ukraine is kind of show-casing the idea of quality over quantity. The PLA can dwarf Taiwan in terms of troops and number of munitions...but if most of that are just polished up clones of earlier Soviet tech, then they'll be equally f*cked over as the Russians by an opponent armed and trained in quality 21st Century tech/tactics.
Russia had a seemingly similar advantage in Ukraine as China probably hoped to employ against Taiwan, but we've seen how that went. China even have the added disadvantage of being unable to take them by surprise since an invasion fleet would be spotted easily.
Part of why I feel the world should continue to back Ukraine no matter what, is that it shows the likes of Beijing that there is a strong will in the world to defend democracy. Enough of a will to make them pay for any attempt to take it away.
I don't remember a promise to protect them if they were invaded I know they have repeatedly said no US troops on the ground fighting, but they have equipped and trained the Ukrainans over the last 8 years, when the little green men first appeared in Crimea and eastern Ukraine the Ukrainan Army had very little funding up to that point and all of the senior officers were Russians not Ukrainian, now the script has been completely flipped
Mobilization?
Mobilization: summons for the war against Ukraine to residents begin to be distributed in the Russian capital.

The Russian press barely reported anything about the Queen's funeral or that numerous global heads of state attended. I imagine they are still fuming that Putin was snubbed and are treating it as a non story.
They missed their chance. They should have invited him and killed him with a frying pan.
He might fall out a window…
Head of regional administration of Luhansk region Haidai: Ukrainian military have liberated and fully secured Bilohorivka in Luhansk region
Ukraine is taking more land back from Russia, swings and roundabouts
I just hope the west is supplying weapons fast enough to keep the pressure on. Germany to supply 4 more Panzerhaubitze 2000s.
