God damn Maltese Nazis
Wasting your time here lad ...
I'm not sure even Patrushev would have the stomach for more of this debacle. Russia is covered in shame and it would be wise to get out, whoever is in power.
Nazi ambulance service
Very mature, and a great counter comment.
Any how in real news
Zelensky has been talking about liberated towns and cities and more to come
There comes a point where even the maddest of dictators cannot ignore the mood of their public. If there's enough resentment among ordinary Russians about the war in Ukraine, it becomes an impossible direction for any Russian leader to follow. It's almost in the very nature of these types of authoritarians to correctly read the room and that's what so often leads to their downfall.
Putin is not your average dictator though he is a ‘special one’ like his military operation. How can you be sure he will follow the pattern you describe above……it’s wishful thinking really. If he was caught/captured by the Ukrainians like say the guy in Romanian all those years ago what type of ‘death’ should he experience……slow and painful with a lot of attention to his ‘nads’….and then pulverise what’s left of him in a wood chipper
And as sure as the sun will set, another one arises
You have to admit, it's bad PR for Malta....
What's your point exactly? That "casual" racism is okay? As opposed to what, the Ku Klux Klan?
A found a pair of casual Knazis hanging around
of topic but I hate the fact people get confused that the Nazis actually co opted tones of symbols whole host of celtic ones for example now linked to them when others were using them first.
I said if there's enough resentment among his people. I cannot guarantee that he'll get to that point, but if he pushes things to it, he'll go the same as every other dictator who's overreached. He's hitting a lot of the typical notes, so far - he's trying to direct a military operation despite having no real military experience himself, putting out a silly macho tough man image, creating a political climate of fear such that his advisors are afraid to say boo, jailing and assassinating dissenters and harkening back to some notional and jingoistic version of history with his Greater Russia nonsense. If he's hanging upside down in Red Square a year from now, I could only say it follows.
That's actually quite telling in a way. He says "Mariupol, Melitopol and Kherson" as opposed to say "Kherson, Luhansk and Donetsk". Reading in between the lines you could say that the plan is to reclaim the territory and cities lost since February before venturing into those lost since 2014.
That probably stands to reason anyway since the Russians will not be as well established in those areas.
The point is that it's a non issue, certainly nothing worth discussing here.
Ironically pretty spot on with that one !!!
Most people just see Ukrainians liberating their cities, but some see it as bad PR.
There is a deliberate change of language in that statement compared to previous statements ,I still believe is retake the whole of Ukraine and reinstate pre'14 borders with Russia.
The idea of taking some territory and then trying to negotiate for others doesn't make sense
That cross is not a Nazi symbol. It predated the rise of the Nazis. And has been pointed out similar in use today.
Symbols are important in influencing peoples opinion, its a fact even though you might not like it:
And yet there has been no nazi symbols as claimed.
Symbols and can and do get misinterpreted,it's pretty common for people not to able to to tell one symbol from another
That is a plain white cross, it's not a swastika or nazi symbol. The only thing remotely resembling a nazi symbol are the Z symbols on the catured Russian weapon you can make out under the white paint the Ukrainians have sprayed over them.
You are probably thinking of the split black cross used by the Luftwaffe in WW2.
hmmmm were do we fall on this.
Strange this is being discussed on page 1939
The "best" way for this war to end would be for the overthrowing of Putin in a popular action. Such an action is made more unlikely by the increasing use of these symbols of hate.
The Russian media is currently having a field day over the socks worn by the director of NATO’s Strategic Communications Centre, which allegedly had a very derogatory phrase, about Russian people, printed on them, not helpful if you want to encourage the people of Russia to apply pressure on Putin.
Doesn't look sick to me.
Was actually discussed before on this thread, brought up by the usual sort and quickly and easily put to bed!
He's sick in the head anyways, for sure!
There are no NAZI symbols. What are you talking about?
