Yep, had to phone them, she went off for a few minutes and came back with the quote.
Just a heads up to check your tire pressure after delivery. I was told by Tesla service the error could be from being over inflated tires. I checked and they were 57psi! Well above the limit.
Thanks was going to give them a swerve, have been competitive on previous policies
Pick up was smooth car was clean. Bit of condensation in both rear lights will keep an eye.
Only thing was wife noticed a pulse in the drivers side headlight as she drove our other car in front of me. Went into headlight alignment and both sides dont look same level or brightness. Will log tomorrow on app. Anyone else see something like that?

Weird dark area on drivers side with dimmed headlights. Is this normal?
I went early and pick up was quick. Noticed 3 problems straight away. The bonnet gaps on each side are a bit different and it has the rear light issue lots have been having. Worst one is the left side of the boot, gap is bigger and looks different to the other side.
Also auto pilot is not working. Well it works but not autos steer, says I need to go to the settings but I didn’t notice anything in there to get it working?
had 42% battery and I had to go straight to Donegal. Went to castlebellingham and had 14% when I got there. Said I needed 30 mins but I wanted to go to 100% as it’s new and charging options up here don’t seem great. Got here with 59% which seemed great to me.
Forgot to say that if I didn’t have a the destination in the sat nav I would have had range anxiety. But after the first stint where it was within 1% of the guess after a 50 odd minute drive there was no problem there.

So today’s the day collecting at 2pm, won’t have the Zappi installed until Friday so going to add some juice to get me through the week without granny charging, IONITY in Kill looks the best option as it’s only a small detour down the N7 from NVD also gives me a chance to pop my public charging cherry. Assuming the car will have approx 45% battery how long do ye reckon I’ll need to fill up to 80% as I understand that the speeds drop off after this and the battery won’t be particularly warm as it’s only a short spin, thanks in advance
You would imagine at this stage with the rear light alignment issue being so prevalent that they would deploy a ranger to Baldonnell to sort them before collection and save themselves 50 trips the length and width of the country…
Not great the the €1000 PDI cost does not cover these alignment issues either…
I wonder how many will be deemed in spec when checked

Finally collected happiest I’ve been with any new car, it’s a completely different offering than anything I’ve owned previously . Car is perfect couldn’t find any faults and I tried all panels aligned, no bogey lights and paint was perfect, car was gleaming and a nice bit of tire gel, I can only assume that the first deliveries were a very quick turnaround

Took delivery of mine today. No issues at all. Panel gaps good, lights good, paint good. Seats a little dirty but I have that sorted already. Delighted with it. Had 42% battery. Topped up at Junction 14 and then onto Limerick after that.
Downloading software updates at the moment and I will install them later this evening..

I second that thank you all it’s been a great source of information and experience sharing, 3 months to the day from ordering, I found the wait strenuous I can’t imagine what it is like for people waiting up to a year etc
I was waiting 5 or 6 weeks and that was bad enough after I got paired with a car 😁

Was very low key but that’s good I like that, had a couple of questions the guys were very helpful so all in no complaints. TBH I’ve done the whole dealer fanfare on new cars and in reality I just want my car and let me go, my wife on the other hand likes to get a bouquet of flowers with a new car so different strokes etc
RWD. I’ve been really impressed with it so far. Went on a short “spirited” drive today and it ate through the juice.. The performance is brilliant as well even though it’s the slowest one.
Need to book that service to get the few issues sorted.
my tyres were inflated to bursting point 63psi in the front 2 tyres. The first day or two I assumed that ecars were a very hard ride on road!
Jeez! That's shockingly high. Mine were at 44psi and now at 42psi.
