Its been a superb year for outdoor concerts weather wise, both Brooks in September and Sheeran in April/May got great weather.
September is usually an excellent month in fairness.
Tickets on sale for pitch standing now. I was there last week. THere was loads of room at the back of the pitch. Could have fitted another thousand or 2 if needed. Guess there are prob some insurance restrictions.
A number of local residents found some lovely gifts left after the concert. Liquid and solid. Some people are animals.

Incredible gig last night. Outside of U2 it's possibly the best gig I've ever been to. Snuck onto the pitch from the Davin stand. Thanks to the poster who put up that tip!
Question: why is nowhere selling any Garth Brooks CDs? A few of his albums are available on vinyl, but nothing on CD anywhere. I'm not interested in paying Amazon 10 quid a month. I just want to buy his Ultimate Hits album on CD and I'd be happy out, and I'll pick up a couple of his albums on vinyl. Why is his music so illusive in physical format? Surprised given he's not on many streaming platforms either.
His Ultimate Hits is number 3 on Irish Albums chart, yet I can't find anywhere selling it. I'm baffled.
Any solutions?
Spotify has a very good 'Garth Brooks' cover artist. There's a few 'official' songs which feaute Brooks as special guest etc
Thankfully have a copy of a few real albums and using Spotify settings I added them to my playlists (settings-local files-allow)
Best best order CDs online or maybe HMV/Golden Discs

I was getting ready and put his greatest hits CD (I know oldschool) on but the player isn't working. I have reverted to listening to covers on Spotify.
Does anyone know if you are allowed to use the lifts and ramble between the teirs looking at the different merchandise tables?

Definitely a run of shows in the 3Arena and SSE Arena Belfast or maybe a tour of stadiums around the country
seen him in the old point depot many moons ago, great shows. would be great if he returned there for a few shows.
To be fair some of Garth Brooks fans live in low places so it's to be expected.
It may be to do with the way the wind is blowing, but we can hear the concert much better tonight in the North Strand. They seem to be having a great time.

He will sell no matter where he plays if he indeed comes back. Let's hope its sooner rather then later
That 2014 thread was a great laugh, I remember taking part in it at the time. There was some very unhinged posters on it, we got weeks of entertainment out of it
Think September can be hit and miss tbh, every few years we get an Indian summer and its cracking but this year Electric Picnic was a wash out and its happened there on the first week in September a few times now. Its strange they dont move it to mid August to get a bit more certainty on the weather
Just back. First time seeing him and it didn’t disappoint. Brilliant gig. The Queen melody was class.
He’s just an entertainer. Incredible and would absolutely go again if/when he comes back.

I was at the point show with Smashing Pumpkins in the mid 90's when a girl was crushed to death due to seated tickets sneaking onto the floor. Not cool at all, capacity numbers are there for a reason

It would be better if people experienced the concert for what it is instead of filming it on their phones. Will never understand it.
The subsequent crush on the floor was partly due to the swell in numbers.
