The Story on all pages today in the media was “mass graves” in Ukraine and the goal was to put in people minds images of bodies buried in a giant pit/ditch but the reality was some what different.
There is another story on Twitter now, being pushed as fact here that those bodies where torture victims and no doubt some are I mean it’s war but that has yet to be established. Earlier today rueters put out a story that individuals had been found bound in graves and that story was retracted. These stories come from somewhere and propaganda is a loaded word but in a time of war it’s ubiquitous.

Well I say para but the uniform is Aerospace so make of that what we can.
It's not just the frozen ground,,,tracked and heavy rubber tyred machines ( Tanks, APC's etc.) can move fine over frozen uneven ground provided its solid underneath. And snow chains will get you out of trouble with most other vehicles. The biggest problem with freezing temperatures is with water cooled engines, and diesel fuel ( plus of course, brakes can seize up too ) If there is any weakness in an vehicle, any kind of vehicle, then winter will find it for you. You need top class maintenance workshops to keep vehicles moving under these conditions, and this has in the past been very problematic for the Russians, so advantage 1 goes to Ukraine. And more misery for the Russians. During ww2, the winter helped defeat the Germans, because they were a long way from home and logistics support. This time it will be the Russians who are in the same boat . Slava Ukraine.
If you've seen the calibre of Russian that they have flying their planes, you'd honestly wonder at the calibre of those who have to jump out of them.

war graves so far are what are being discovered. A graveyard could be described as a mass grave and a ditch full of bodies could be described as a mass grave. There is a difference between bought though.
