5 year old video:(
Mad, almost the exact same thing happened back in '16.
Fauqs sake 😭
Appears to be big developments today. Fair play to the Ukrainians if true
So the Russian rip-off of the Viking Splash tours never took off ............. or should I say "couldn't stay afloat"
Can’t have too many Russian speakers here, Russia might invade to protect them,
scum of scum, should be banned for life.
We're full up.
Last thing we need is disgruntled Russians driving around in their Z jeeps!
I do not wish to dump, and I am aware that 1 old woman jumping for joy is anecdotal, but her clear happiness warmed my heart.
That is a message for Gormdubh, the choice on what path Ukraine takes is not yours, it is not mine and it is not Putins. That choice is for Ukrainians alone to make, and they have clearly made that choice.
Once made we can decide to support, oppose or ignore that choice. Of those 3 choices there is clearly only morally correct of the 3.
Hmmm...
WarMonitor🇺🇦 on Twitter: ""The Armed Forces of Ukraine are already in Izyum" According to a fighter of the National Guard and ex-deputy of the Izyum City Council Nikita Karakay." / Twitter
Would be very interesting to know what is going on in the upper circles of Russian power right now. Despite all professions of public loyalty, there must be a lot of speculation and scheming for the future
There's a lot of this on reddit at the moment.
It's genuinely hard to figure out what is actually happening. The footage in another clip is a bridge that no one recognised.
Are they actually there, on the outskirts or trying to trick Russians to not send re-enforcements.
Definitely not a 6 year old video (I hope)
Bmp engaging Ukrainian forces gets hit with an anti tank weapon almost immediately
If there is a civil war in Russia i think we should all be more concerned about nuclear weapons than families of deserters.
It's not silly, there's plenty of fighting ( 650 Russian fatalities yesterday ) but the Ukrainians have managed to use decent tactics to ( repeatedly) get round the back of undermanned Russian positions , and once they've had room to manouvre they've kept going ,so yes there have been undefended areas but also very hastily abandoned villages ...
one looked like it had the back doors open. That's how that one sank.
Seriously I wouldn't try to be a Smart ass
Nothing would really surprise me. We seem to be seeing genuine chaos with the Russian army, not just a few minor setbacks.
Sometimes, this can happen during an offensive or counter offensive : one side makes astonishing progress and surprises even themselves.
Another 24 hours and we'll know.
So it was an honest mistake. Fair enough
True.
Seen the Russians failed with using the TOS-1A to slow down the Ukrainian advance.
There are some serious questions to be asked about the state of the Russian armed forces, surely they cannot remain this disorganised or chaotic for long, honestly, I'm suspicious, you'd almost have to work to be this incompetent. Lol.
Hopefully they are falling to pieces. If word get's out it may collapse in on them rapidly.
It's a collapse we'd all like to see, but it be wary that the Russian government would resort to drastic measures to break up the counter offensive so they could regroup and hold some sort of defensive line.
That's kind of the way I am viewing it, if they are in Izyum I would be surprised. If they have taken it I would be astonished but for the last 3 days my surprise at confirmation of their advances has been happily fulfilled. I'll wait in hope for 24 hours to see if this is true.
Soldiers would have to be willing to fight very hard to do that once routed.
I can see them withdrawing to Crimea in the hope the Ukrainians will be happy getting the east and the newer occupied areas back
For sure it's a worry but i hope sensible heads inside the kremlin would tell Putin and his inner circle to fcuk off grow up and just accept defeat. But yeah who knows.
At this stage you would have to wonder if even the nukes they parade around work. Remember the fancy tanks breaking down. I hear pinball machine parts work well.
It seems they are outnumbered. Also, long range artillery should be able to pound the salient around Izyum.
I was thinking more chemical weaponry. They might get away with that rather than a small nuclear strike.
Looks like Ukrainian infantry and armor are already in Izyum fighting block by block
