If you're finding it difficult to figure out truth from lies in this days and age, it's fair enough to simply not believe anything. After all, it saves valuable brain cells from having to think. Why bother checking which sources have a good record for accuracy and which ones can never get their stories straight when you can just tell yourself they're all the same and rise above it all? Why bother with understanding the motivations and agendas of the sources when you can just write them all off without a single further, overly complicated thought?
If I found it that difficult and had no desire to inform myself, I'd probably do the same, to be honest.
(Today) at the UN . Yesterday at the UN
Wtf.
CNN news reported this morning that the count of Ukrainans forcibly deported to Russia stands at 2.5 million .
I'm not 100% about the figure, but I'd say it's in excess of 1.5 million, but if the figure is close imagine half of our own population filtered and forcibly deported to Siberia
Todays update
Russian media has been reporting it too. Are they in on the lie that Ukraine has liberated villages from Russia?
the movie will be called Zelensky's list
Who gave this propagandist a headbutt
Lol...
The comedian facing the tyrant
He knows the real story courtesy of his flying visits to the battlefield
And what would you have done if your country was invaded and you are in charge?
You have to remember there is two wars going on between Russia and Ukraine, the first one you allready know, the second is called information war,to fight russian propaganda and misinformation
Why do you say that?
It may simply be fortunate that he is so suited to the task, both in terms of charisma and being photogenic.
The kill and capture lists for men and equipment is possibly the longest ever too
It is actually hard to stay on top of all the good news today
on my lunch break will try to make a list
Sure it was only just over a week ago people were saying the counteroffensive had failed.
I was optimistic for Ukraine, but I didn't think they would gain so much, so fast.
Let's hope they can keep the momentum going!
Tbh I don't . the whole war is full of lies and outrageous feats that never happened. The whole ukriane war (esp Zelensky) is one big PR stunt.
I know some people will diss the story from CNN about how Russia prays on young people
Where's the harm in that? Might benefit their immortal souls...
They’d probably have put them up on Done deal or the military black market version of.
Im sure there are many tin pot military’s around the world who’d love to get their hands on them.
“Claiming” is an odd word given all the videos going around if Ukrainian flags being raised at buildings in villages previously occupied by Russia, and Russian sources stating that named villages have been lost. Do you not believe him?
They only recaptured as much in a day as Russia clawed in two months (circa 450sq km)
Nothing to see people
No panic 😆
Many people of my generation will recognise something of the "Black Knight" in Putin's recent spewings.
Why does the press bother reporting what he says?
Spewtin will have a lot of "word-work" to do when the Ukrainians cross the "border" with Crimea, which they will probably do soon (at least a provisional incursion while they attend to other matters, or perhaps Crimea will be given priority).
For those that say this was all down to the introduction of high tech. it should be noted that the Ukrainians adopted it effortlessly. The Russian conscripts would, perhaps, have felt inclined to attempt eating the HIMARS.
Zelenskiy claiming they have captured some town and villages from Russia
Ukrainian aviation conducted over 30 airstrikes at gatherings and bases of Russian forces. Ukrainian air defence shot down 2 Su-25 planes, Mi-24 and Ka-52 helicopters and 5 drones, - General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine says in the morning report
this truly is a fight back for the ages
This story just keeps on giving
I know some people will diss the story from CNN about how Russia prays on young people but I do think it's very important to realise just how far those Russian FSB tentacles reach into every grouping from across the divide. Everything from seemingly harmless environment protest groups and homeless protests and everything in between. Not long ago I suggested some of those in 'Amnesty international' might be unwitting tools... I still think this.
How Russia's security service preys on young activists to turn them into informants
quote from the story.
"When a huge immigrant community emerges abroad, where people speak freely to each other, work on projects together.
A handy source of intel for those who like to gather intel.
Maybe a meeting can also be scheduled to put UN peacekeepers and a neutral zone let’s say of 100km in diameter around certain nuclear plant
wouldnt want any shells that mysteriously do 180degree turns landing there or dragons
I believe your correct
Right after the meeting to discuss flood of Iranian and North Korean (hey aren’t both heavily sanctioned by UN) weapons, right?
Utter scum they are, why they are even entertained at the UN and other bodies is beyond me.
Only good thing to come of the war is that Putin has pretty much ruined the country and dispelled the myth that they are anywhere near a powerful country in world standings.
Russia is now demanding an emergency UN security council meeting to discuss the flood of western weapons into ukraine.....
I can't recall a single day since this started, where I saw more videos of russian captured and killed troops, and destroyed vehicles, than I saw yesterday. It was bedlam.
I posted few weeks ago about Excalibur smart rounds, now confirmed in use, thread
