I might have my figures messed up. Was measuring from Odessa & Kherson up to the North.
It will be interesting to see what's happening with the city of Balakleya.
Lots of conflicting reports at the moment.
Apparently the HQ of Putin's 'United Russia' party in occupied Melitopol was destroyed this evening (by the Ukrainian military). These guys were busy organising a sham "referendum" on joining Russia.
Don't believe anything you read on the internet twitter etc... Propaganda is off the scales at the moment.
So… shouldn’t trust your advice. Gotcha!
ouch my sides
edit there was discussion about estimates of Russians killed, well look it here
Please point out one post ive made that's been propaganda. Don't run away now like usual.
Saw that earlier and laughed too .
On a more serious note the poles are expecting to go war against the russians in the next 3-6 years .
Someone is itching for a fight
There was a talk of the Ukrainian forces sending in their least experienced forces first then reinforcing with the more highly trained units after, ones that may have more training with western weapons. Although some of the sources for that may have been suspect.
Have you got a source for that?
McGinley and some other posters were saying Russia only have 2 or 3 thousand tanks.
True story.
They have lost 1300 tanks + the current average is at about 60 tanks week every week for the last few months,
We seen zero evidence of them having another 8000 tanks sitting there ready to roll into ukraine,
But we do know that the Ukrainans have 90+,000 anti tank missles and other weapons available to them at a moments notice
Well Ukraine has done the heavy lifting and is in the process of neutering Russia militarily ATM.
In 3-6 years they could be facing border issues from resource hungry China as well.
Bit like the weapons of mass destruction that the yanks and brits convinced themselves (and the majority of the western world ) were in Iraq, aimed at the west and ready to be dispatched……10 years later they were still there and not one WMD was ever discovered 😡😡
Whatabout what
Just mentioned that in the politics forum.
Welcome back sir again.
But the kiev independent today reported the Russian tank losses are at 2097.
Probably more accurate than think tanks so .
They have been pretty spot on since day one.
Unlike other's
Ah here. I follow this twitter account but he needs to ease off on the excited posts. The sources appear to be Russian Telegram accounts. I don't think it's very likely unless the Ukrainians here have lost the run of themselves.
The distance of where is being discussed is 20 miles from Shevchenkove to Kupiansk.
Looks like today has been the worst days for Putin's boys since the rout they suffered outside Kyiv at the start of the war.
Never went anywhere, I've been lurking 😉
Erdogan in Belgrade. In case there was any doubts about whose side he is on....Bombing of his fuel convoys traveling from the Syrian oil fields to Turkey all forgotten.

Looks like he's gearing up for a fight with the Greeks too ,
Imagine two Nato members being pro russian, and anti eu /Nato
I am pretty sure he means armoured vehicles including tanks and Russia only have 3 000 operational tanks
I would hope that's not true as they would be almost certainly over stretched and very open to attacks from either flank the further they push that salient. Kupiansk is strategically very important however and control of it would cut off rail resupply to not just Izyum and Lyman but even as far as Lsyschansk and SeveroDonetsk.

I would think though that if they can get within safe artillery range of the lines, that they would be able to exercise some control of it. But they're unlikely to push any of their good (long range and accurate) stuff too close to the front line. So it might be a while yet before they're able to target the railway infrastructure. Anyways, hopefully the reports are an exaggeration and it's just some unit that's taken a wrong turn somewhere.
Tbh I have a feeling that some of the Russians units in those areas have panicked and disintegrated. I think todays list of captured Russian vehicles backs this up.
My biggest fear would be the Ukrainians get carried away and overextend themselves leaving them open to counterattacks.
With inflation running at 80%, he urgently needs to throw the spotlight somewhere else...soon enough he may have all the fighting he wants or needs on the streets of Turkish Cities, when an angry population starts looking for someone to blame for the high costs of living that high inflation brings....and he was damn glad of NATO after shooting down the Russian jet.
How many tanks have the Russians lost?
You demonstrated last week that you don't know what a tank is.
He says "don't underestimate Russia". Surely he means don't estimate Russia, full stop.
There's been -
The list could go on obviously. Just don't estimate Russia.
