Clerical Officer in the Civil Service 2022 | Civil Service - publicjobs.ie
Ah congrats!!
Any update from Kerry
As per https://www.forsa.ie/other-benefits/pay-and-conditions/pay-scales/civil-service-payscales/
Point 3 is €27,375. You skip points 4 and 8 BTW. Also with the ballot to come, pay increases are very likely.
Clerical officer (PPC)
25,339 (485.60) – 26,963 (516.73) – 27,375 (524.63) – 28,181 (540.07) – 29,368 (562.83)- 30,555 (585.56)- 31,740 (608.28) – 32,604 (624.83) – 33,581 (643.56) – 34,717 (665.34) – 35,517 (680.68) – 36,642 (702.22) – 37,760 (723.65) – 39,504 (757.08) – LSI 1 40, 876 (783.36) – LSI 2 41, 504 (795.40)
I presume you have to contact the National Shared Services Office (NSSO) about such.
Can I ask why do you skip point 4 and 8? Thanks :)
It was part of the 'New Entrants' pay deal.

Will new entrants pay scales rise at each point due to last weeks public sector agreement should it be voted in?
Yes, all pay points will be adjusted to reflect changes if accepted and passed.
When you say you skip points 4 and 8 what does that mean.
I am ahead of you in that list. Re the batches what o take from what pas said “ 9 ahead of you” maybe there are only 9 people in total as the other 11 either dropped out or never passed.
🤷♂️
For anyone in Limerick, I had my interview in early May, had to send location preferences by mid-May, and had to send clearance documents by 1st September. Got an email today to fill out vetting form.
When your on point 3, you go to point 5 next and when your on point 7 you go to point 9 next. Every point is your yearly increment.
Got offered a position in the Department of Social Protection in Dublin. No location yet.
Does any known how far order of merit is reached for Tipperary
Congratulations, did you get a start date yet? How long did your Garda vetting take to come back?
Hey there,
Thanks a million!
No idea of start date yet, as regards the vetting It took roughly a week to get back.
Would working for the public sector or civil service through an agency count towards your service and increments?
I’m on point 3 now as a tco and due to be placed, didn’t know that 🤔
Not 100 percent sure but I'd say probably not because your employer was the agency and not the public sector body.
Hi I know it does be taken into account with the HSE as I was working for any agency in the HSE and then when I accepted a permanent position in the HSE my time with the agency was taking into account
Is it ok to use the same example twice in the interview? For example, "talk to us about a project you undertook", and "tell us something you're proud of from your previous employment". I don't have that much work experience so I don't have a lot of examples.
Mid 50s a couple of weeks ago in Tipp
Has anyone gone through vetting recently? How long is it taking? Just submitted mine this morning and trying to estimate when I might get a start date!
Hi guys , I got a message to say I’m being considered for Carrigaline ,Cork and I’m to start my pre employment checks , but it dosent say which department I will be assigned to . Would anybody on here have any idea what dept it could be? Would I be overstepping the mark by asking Pas which department it is ?
The only one I can think of in Carrigaline is the DSP office.
if you google Civil Service mobility map it shows all government departments in each location @citygirl22
I’m loving it! Started DSP last week
People point .
DSP maybe
Hi,
How long is it taking for people to hear from HR with start dates after getting their assignment notice? Received my assignment notice on the 1st and nothing since 🤷
Thanks everyone
Can anyone tell me how long it took after expression of interest to actually starting a job with the hse? What was the time line ?
