Artemis postponed again.
Yes I seen that.
Trelane retconned as being part of the Q Continuum.
Episode to air on Legend at 20:00.
The Gorn episode tomorrow night.
Where did you see the Trelane retcon?
Not in the episode itself but latter non-canon novel.
In an interview on the TNG Season 7 DVD, John de Lancie said he believed that Gene Roddenberry, whether consciously or subconsciously, was channeling Trelane when he created the character of Q. [1] ~~ Link
I actually just recently read that ‘Q-Squared’ novel, and I’d highly recommend it! It’s a great TNG story and well written too.
The Peter David ones were usually superior entries in the novel series.
I haven't read any of the Star Trek novels since I was a kid, but I got hold of one recently at a market and I enjoyed it more than I expected. Any others you guys would recommend?
A Stitch in Time. Excellent book
TNG Dark Mirror by Diane Duane (mirror universe)
TNG Reunion by Michael Jan Friedman (involves Stargazer crew)
DS9 Fallen Heroes
DS9 Proud Helios
I liked the 'Lost Era' set of novels, which also includes:
DS9 series covering the Bajoran Occupation

There were some good novels in the followon series such as Typhon Pact, Myriad Universes and the DS9 continuations but then there just seemed to be a flood of novels in which very little happened and I dropped.
The one that covers the beginning of the occupation sounds really interesting.
James Swallow wrote some of the entries in the series, he's done a few other Trek books and his writing tends to be a notch above the standard fare.
Any novels that would make a good film?
Tonight's episode on Legend.
That was a fun time travel episode, first time using the SlingShot around the Sun.
I do not like these annual $brand Days.
The ENT ones focusing on the Romulan war / birth of the federation are very good.
The new Titan-A from Picard Season 3
Damn She Hulk. I saw an i instead of a hyphen for a second and thought Jameela Jamil was joining Picard. (Fun fact she is voicing one of Admiral Janeways bridge crew in Prodigy)
Featuring 'Khan', tonight's TOS episode on legend.
So it's a new Constitution class to go with the new Constitution class we got in Discovery.
These fkers have no imagination everything has to be a cheap memberberry. Every design a call back to something.
Did Discovery get a new constitution class? Or do you man the new old Enterprise?
Neo Constitution is a weird name for a ship but then so was Akira.
None of the live action ship designs have been worth a damn. Really awful stuff, bar the original Discovery but I appreciate that's a minority opinion. At least it had a semblance of thought and imagination, nabbed from those Phase 2 designs of yore.
Just checked and it's now called Kirk class but in an episode Owo calls it a new Constitution class
What's wrong with Akira
I liked a few of the very early Disco ones like the Shenzhou.
Most were poor though including Discovery and especially the Klingon ships. Most childish of all was giving S31 ships and making them all black and eeevillll looking.
The least secret organization in the Galaxy.
ugh, wow, calling it “Kirk Class” is so much worse.
Most were poor though including Discovery and especially the Klingon ships.
I think you mean Klignots. That's what they are called. The klingons never featured in that fake Star Trek series you mentioned them in as it's not Star Trek.
Akira is a personal name, it'd be like naming it the USS Steve. I know it derived from the animators at ILM naming after the film but it still sounds odd
A fair enough
